Javier Zanetti, Marco Materazzi, and Dejan Stankovic commented on the disappointing 6-2 defeat to Roma in the Coppa Italia first leg final
Said Inter skipper Javier Zanetti: "Everything we could do wrong in one season, we did wrong in one game.
"Let's not make a drama out of it, we cannot discard an entire season just for one defeat, even one as ugly as this."
Then it was Marco Materazzi's turn to speak to Inter Channel's microphones: "We must pay tribute to Roma who played well, won and scored six goals.
"But we played one bad game in a season and our season is certainly not to be dismissed. We should not forget we won the Scudetto and now we will have a huge task in front of us to overturn this result."
Finally, Dejan Stankovic also talked about this shocking result: "Roma played like the Inter of two years ago, they were hungry for victory and it showed.
"Perhaps we were a little gratified after the Scudetto victory, now at San Siro we will have to play a great match to overturn this result."
