Udinese suffer Jankulovski blow Thursday 12 May, 2005

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Udinese’s Champions’ League bid has been hit by a serious injury to star midfielder Marek Jankulovski.

The Czech Republic international has been ruled out for the rest of the season after he broke his ankle.

Jankulovski picked up the damage in last night’s Coppa Italia draw at Roma and will be sidelined for three months.

That’s bad news for the Bianconeri as they aim to finish in the top four and thus qualify for the European Cup.

Jankulovski, who will undergo surgery in Varese on Friday, could also see his dreams of a big summer move collapse as a result of the problem.

The former Napoli player has been associated with the likes of Milan and Juventus but they could stall until Jankulovski proves his fitness again.

Should be able to clear aobut ur doubt on his injury.
