It's no surprise to most people on this forum I've been supportive of state of Israel for many years, but as things stand they really need to get a grip. I can't get behind their actions any longer.
End the war in Gaza asap and get that psyccopath aka Netanyahu and his gang of criminals out of office and hopefully for a court of justice (not gonna happen, but one can hope). That right wing government is pure cancer and there's never gonna be a lasting peace with those people in office.
Israel as a country has it's right to exist and it will stay that way. But they really need to change their ways. Leave the West Bank asap and kick those disgusting settlers out of there asap.
Seek peace and compromise again. If it doesn't work then try again. And again. And again.

Iranian media reported the airport, didn't mention anything about military base. It is difficult to reach other people due to internet disruptions. We are being cut off from the internet because only Iranian websites are available, I logged into tuz with the Tor browser. I think the GeoIP ban has beens applied.
My mom is in Tabriz. I talked to her a few minutes ago via FaceTime.
The airbase, named “second fighter jet airbase” is located right next to the airport, and they share some facilities I think. We’ll see in next few days if the airport, which has a single terminal building, sustained any damage.

What I'm trying to say is, when the Arab neighbours/people in general are calling for the destruction of Israel they're not exactly helping any peace process. And it just gives the the Israeli far right more excuses to extend their insane politics/vision like in the West Bank. Their paranoia just gets fueled this way.
With that said, I think it's a dangerous game to tell a group of people like the Israelies they have no right for a nation considering the Jewish history of expulsion, persecution and genocide. But of course it shouldn't be at the expense of a Palestinian state.
And that's why those on the Israeli far right needs to be absolutely silenced and isolated. There's many Israelies who wants peace and the same goes on the Palestinian side of course. But these people are not heard at all because things are spiralling out of control and has done so for a long time.
