That is from 2023. Words also become meaningless without actions to back them or when actions contradict what has been said. The actions of the majority of european states over the past year and a half have been to fully support fascist genocide and the mass slaughter of children.

Therefore when Borrell's replacement goes to Jerusalem to meet the israeli foreign minister and calls israel and the EU good partners you can believe it. Concerns about international law, human rights, and the protection of civilians, not so much.
