So essentially we're applying general colonial logic to the unique case of Israel/Palestine?
It is not a unique case. Some East Europeans and Americans came to this region to have their colony. They will be moved back to their respective countries when their time comes.

Like I said in our previous conversations, Northern Ireland is a completely separate issue which requires a new treaty etc.. and anything else that needs to make Northern Ireland part of a fully Irish coherent state. The Irish don't need to rebel against their English oppressor any more but the Palestinians have to. The Irish have a state, the Palestinians do not and are still in the process of reaching that state.

I'd say that's a fair analogy. With American AID to Israel substituted for Brisith Colonial Power and IDF for Black and Tans.

The IRA never blew up buses full of non-combatants though.
That's where we all agree on as do Rebel and everyone else. Those extremists just make the matter worse. If those people didn't take the religion name in vain, then we might have a different story now but seeing as it's Israel, it won't be that different but it would be better in a sense.

ِAbulqasem Daghmash was targeted this morning by sending two bags full of bombs to his office. He was not hurt. This guy is one of the important allies of Hamas in Gaza...

Here he is between his followers:

Jamal Zahalqa, an arab member in the Israeli Knesset was today in a program on the Israeli Tv when he was asked about his opinion about Israeli policy in Gaza. He said that Israel are doing nothing there, but killing innocent children. The program was stopped and he was forced to leave the studio immediately...

Are you telling me that Arabs in general want to be united in the same country? Then why doesn't that just happen? If that's the majority will in all Arab states? Surely if you had a democracy then you could make it happen. So why don't you do something? Why doesn't anyone?
I think it's partly because we're not letting them to do that and we don't want democracy there.

I did a quick research, which is surely full of mistakes and you guys will forgive me (and maybe try to fix these mistakes).
I counted how big that potential Arab state will be, I approximately calculated the population, ethnic origin and religion in this potential state.

    As criteria I used:
    - Countries members of the Arab league
    - Countries who aren't members of the Arab league but Arab is the official language
    - Israel as a desired territory in this potential country

For many countries no official figures can be given, because their laws forbid population censuses and somewhere there are lot of irregularities when the censuses are made.

    Here are the results:

    area said:
    Sudan 2,505,813 km2
    Algeria 2,381,741 km2
    Saudi Arabia 2,149,690 km2
    Libya 1,759,541 km2
    Chad 1,284,000 km2
    Mauritania 1,030,700 km2

    ---------------------
    Total =15 044,717 km2
The second largest country in the world after Russia. Spread on two continents. From the Atlantic Ocean on the east, through the Mediterranean, all the way to the Persian gulf and the Arabian sea, with territories down in the Mozambique Channel in the Indian ocean.
With the oil and other natural reserves, this will be quite an unpleasant rival, eh?

Lets look at the population now:
    population said:
    Egypt 77,420,000
    Sudan 42,272,000
    Algeria 34,895,000

    Iraq 31,234,000
    Saudi Arabia 28,686,633
    Yemen 23,580,000
    Syria 21,906,000
    Chad 11,206,000
    Tunisia 10,432,500
    Somalia 9,133,000
    UAE 8,200,000

    Qatar 1,409,000
    Bahrain 1 050 000
    Djibouti 864,000
    Comoros 798,000
    -------------------
    Total = 372 665 716
It's the 3rd most inhabited country in the world.

Lets see how many, approximately, of them are Arabs:
    Arabs said:
    Egypt ~74 000 000
    Sudan 39% or ~16 486 000
    Algeria ~30 000 000
    Morocco ~ 14 000 000
    Iraq 75% or ~ 23 425 000
    Saudi Arabia 83% or ~23 809 000
    Yemen 23 580 000
    Syria 90% or 19 715 000
    Chad 30 000
    Tunisia 98% or 10 223 000
    Somalia almost no Arabs
    UAE 45% or 3 690 000
    Israel 16% or ~1 200 000
    Libya 85% or 5 460 000
    Jordan 95% or 6 000 000
    Lebanon ~ 4 200 000
    Palestinian territories 99.4% or 4 110 000
Mauritania (they speak some Arabic dialect) so ~3 000 000 arabs
    Kuwait 57% or 1 646 000
    Oman 2 400 000
    Qatar 40% or 563 000
    Bahrain 600 000
    Djibouti 5% ~ 40 000
    Comoros /
So around 268 100 000 are Arabs and ~104 000 000 aren't Arabs. That's quite a big number of non-Arabs, which is more than 1/4 of the population.

    Religion wise:
    religion Muslim said:
    Egypt 74% or 57 290 000
    Sudan 70% or 29 600 000
    Algeria 97% or 33,848,000
    Morocco 98.7% or 31,580,000
    Iraq 97% or 30,300,000
Saudi Arabia all of them 28,686,633
    Yemen all of them 23,580,000
    Syria 63% or ~ 13,800,000
    Chad 54% or ~ 6,050,000
    Tunisia 99% or 10,320,000
    Somalia all of them 9,133,000
    UAE 75% or 6,150,000
    Israel 16% or ~ 1 200 000
    Libya 97% or 6,227,000
    Jordan 92% or 5,810,000
    Lebanon 56% or 2,365,000
    Palestinian territories 98.7% or 4,082,000
    Mauritania 99.84% or 3,285,000
    Kuwait 2,200,000
    Oman 95% or 2,700,000
    Qatar 77.5% or 1,091,000
    Bahrain 81.2% 850 000
    Djibouti 94% or 812,000
    Comoros 98% 782,000
    ---------------
    Total ~311 740 000
So out of 372.6 million around 311 million are Muslim, or 83%.
Of course, here you have other divisions among the muslims, between sunni, shia and some other minor branches.

You can draw your conclusions, but to me it doesn't look like a state that the rest of the world, mainly the great powers, would like to exist.

Alen, very great effort, I have to say...

You can remove Chad from there because Arabs are a small minority there. There are small Arab minorities in Chad, Mali, Niger and even in Iran, but these are not considered that material in their respective countries.

Eritrea is somehow vague for me as they are considered sometimes to be having Arab majority, but I have never seen an official confirmation for that.
