Not to mention that the phosphorus bombs are a violation of international humanitarian law as well.

I'm not defending Israel. I never did such a thing. I have always said the attack on Gaza is wrong. I just don't hate Jews like the rest of you do.
i'd just like to point out that there is a difference between hating israeli's and hating jews (i thought some people on here may actually simply hate jews in general)

Says the UN.

Look. I don't know who you are. All I know you're some government official. But I don't care. I don't get this from the media, even though they'd be correct. The United Nations Human Rights Council says Iran are guilty.

THE UN! The biggest and most important international organisation in the world.
And they are saying USA and Israelare as well

Or its up to you to pick up what you want

And again
UN is the biggest joke in the world
Actually there is nothing called UN anymore but rather U"N"SA

Its a long list
Actually longer than the Iranians or any other nation

Israeli citizens are watching bombardment with binoculars and smiling after hearing noise of bombs. One of them actually said this ''some die, some live but this isn't end of the world''

it looks like they are feeding with hate against them. They want to be hated.of course i am not talking about peaceful jews, even though they are just a few.

Ok, but what about Turkey? What if i choose to stop in the year 1453?
There were never Turkish tribes there until the 11th century. It was Byzantine, the eastern Roman empire. People who lived there were Greeks or some other tribes who were christians after the 4th century. The capital was the great Constantinopole, the second Rome, the new capital of the Roman empire.
Starting from the 11th century the muslims started concuring these lands by force just so in 1453 Constantinopole to fell and the Turks to start rulling completely what is now called Turkey.
They occupied these lands, they concured them, they islamized many of those who already lived there (by force, may i add). Those who lived there for centuries didn't give them their lands. The Turkish tribes won them by force.

Constantinopole is today known as Istanbul. Coincidently that's the place where Turk_Bianconero lives. The old capital of the Christian world, the greatest and biggest city in the middle ages. It was never Turkish until 555 years ago (relatively short time in history). It was taken by force and now it's an islamic land.

What if i choose to stop in 1453? Does Cronios have the right to tell Turk: "Get the fuck out of my land? It's Greek land, it's not Turkish, it was never called Turkey until 1922."

So, why stop in 1948, why not stop in 2005?
You are just answering youself bro
Why 60 years only!!!
Because before that there was nothign called State of Israel

Its simple Allen
You can Occupy any land by force and no matter how long you stay there
Its all about the PPL of that land at the end
If they accept you and beleive your rights in doing that then you will be there for ever
But if you failed to do so and the PPL Kept hating you and fully convinced that you dont have the right to take their land then no matter how powerful u are or how long u keep the land , one day you will be kicked out be sure about it

Muslims occupied part of Spain (Cordoba and Seville) for more than 700 years
Then what?
They simply gave it up
Its working like this and it will always be like this
You cannot take what is not yours and ask the original owners to keep quite unless you convince them that its really yours or you will never enjoy living in peace and to be sure that one day you will give it up
Convince them with all means but force
Because you cannot own the PPL by force

What about when DJs in Dubai get fired for making jokes about Mohammed? Is that not a sign of an Islamic nation?
No its not. I'll make this simple without going too much into detail. One of the characteristics of a true Islamic state, is that the rulers be elected.

All that is great and fantastic, so you what do you expect from the Palestinians? to simply give up?

I'd really like to hear what you think should happen.

The only way this war is ever gona be won is if the Arabs unite. The Europeans did it with the Turks, but it seems the Arabs can't with the Jews. Cowards.

Very interesting point. Once again highlights the need for both sides to compromise.

I can't force you to read. I have said Israel are guilty of violations of international humanitarian law and violations of human rights.

That you say the UN is a joke is pretty laughable, because your argument is based on the credibility of the UN.

Unlike many, many others in this thread I cannot be accused of bigotry here. My opinion is very simple:

1. Israel has the right to exist as a country. The Jews there are entitled to the land, just as much as the Palestinians.

2. This is bound to lead to a conflict, which cannot be resolved by asking who is more entitled to the land. A compromis will have to be found.

3. Israel has violated human rights, but the complaints coming from some Arab countries look a wee bit ridiculous.
