Eddy, you know Hamas leaders were in Damascus before the Syrian revolution started in 2011. When the Syrian revolution started, Assad told them that they have to support his acts against those who ask for freedom, or they have to leave Syria. That is why they left Syria. They made an announcement later that they chose not to take part in the bloodshed of Syrian civilians. That is why this Assad follower calls them traitors...
Thanks.

If this is what winning means then not a lot of hope left.
:agree:

This truce is nothing but stalemate which is a victory for Israel's right wing. They can continue their apartheid'sque treatment of the Palestinians while keep building new settlements.

Oh, well. Same old same old.

    This is about Gaza.

The settlements are built in the West Bank

Uhh huh, right. I'm sure this will be long-lasting. :howler:

Thousands of years will not be revoked by some silly ceasefire, which was in place a couple weeks ago anyway.

It will only take one simple false flag or disagreement to get the war drums beating again.

    Pff, good luck.

And how did Gaza win, by the way?

"The proposal does not include Hamas demands regarding a port, an airport, prisoners and funds. The sides will discuss their demands through Egypt within a month."
Gee, so basically have it the same as before, but Israel MIGHT let some goods go through. What a victory!

I really don't see how Gaza is the winner here. Israel will simply wait til there's another incident and tell the world "We gave them concessions but look they just want to kill us". PR Success.

Gaza won because Zionists did not achieve anything of their targets in Gaza. You just have to bear in mind that Gaza is fighting alone. All the countries around Gaza are either Zionist or just neutral. When freedom fighters alone force a power like "Israel" to stop its attacks on Gaza, that is definitely a victory. Now, Zionists know that if they come back, Gaza will hit back directly.

For those who compare this with 2012 results, you have to take in consideration that Gaza has borders only with two "countries"; Israel and Egypt. In 2012, Israel was attacking Gaza while Egypt was opening the crosspoint with Gaza. The regime in Egypt at that time was sympathizing with Gaza. Now, the criminal regime in Egypt is just worse than Israel in dealing with Gaza.

Gaza didn't force Israel to stop, if you think that you are very delusional. And shit, I don't think Israel wanted to wipe them out instantly tomorrow, sadly everything is going much more to israel's plan then to gaza's.

    Why did Israel stop then?
    What went to Israel's plans?

You can't just wipe out a whole group of people in a day and not think it will bring problems, even for israel. If not tomorrow then wait half a year, one year or two and you will see the same story again. Victory would imply that something changed while in reality nothing did.

I'm really sorry if you feel that this is a win for gaza, because in such scenario there is no hope for them at all.

I would think that them stopping has much more to do with outside forces then the ones coming from gaza, because we can see that they have little to no regard to what people from gaza say or do.
