The way I see it Iran getting a nuke is only a matter of time unless regime changes. What I’m worried now is that if that day arrives they decide to not keep it to themselves and share it with their proxies. Their security doctrine have always heavily involved those militia groups and the reason they are under this humiliating circumstances is those proxies are also severely weakened.
Can you blame them?

Seems that's the only way to be safe.

As for the US, they vastly underestimate how difficult it is to subjugate a nation. Again. Again and again and again. They're such dumb fucks.

If I had to guess, it wouldn’t shock me if magically there’s an attack on a US ship, aircraft, or base somewhere that they say kills Americans, probably staged by some bad actors, which means we end up getting fully dragged into this. It’s too unpopular right now but just wait. Something will happen. Israel did a solid job with 9/11 so there’s that.
I guess I was wrong about this thus far. Obviously Trump doesn't care about what his own retarded voter base thinks. The suckers and losers that might go to war with Iran don't matter either. But most likely I'll still end up being right and they'll stage terror attacks to get us more involved in a widespread escalation. The "Iranian sleeper cells" they constantly talk about here in the states are probably just a bunch of Urban Moving Systems guys from the IDF as seen several years ago in 2001.

If the USA is planning a ground invasion of Iran they will need far more soldiers they have current.

It'd be a draft in that case. What's you're feeling of how the population would react in this scenario I've just dreamt up?

Obviously it would be highly unpopular. Unless, of course, a new 9/11 occurs. Then I would assume the MAGA masses would eat it up, and perhaps it would make sense from an employment perspective as well. AI and automation will probably take away 20% or more of jobs in the next 10 years, so there needs to be some waste somewhere. What better than another decade long war to keep everyone distracted?

No blame in geopolitics. Unfortunately I think we’re at a point of no return here.

    He 'hopes' they won't retaliate?

Wtf kind of idea is that.

Israel's entire point is that they say Iran should be crippled now. If they can retaliate, they will.

No, he's hilariously dumb. Hilariously. No matter which side you're coming from.
Iran was told to downgrade their nuclear programme. They didn't. Diplomacy failed. Israel couldn't wait and now they have been met with bombs.
The Iranian regime is funding terrorist organisations in Palestine (Hamas) and Libanon (Hitzbollah). This is why Israel is on the offense. Iranian regime should think hard about their next move. Let's hope they seek diplomacy so we dont have a full on war ahead.

There can be no diplomacy for Iran.

Israel and the US have just shown what diplomacy really means to Iran: unconditional surrender.

People forget that the U.S. did far more damage and deaths firebombing Tokyo than they did nuking Hiroshima.
Well, yes, but on the other hand that was with atomic bombs from 1945. That was 80 years ago. Who knows what kind of destruction a modern bomb could bring?

While true, I don't believe in the binary treatment to what is really a spectrum of death and destruction. People are triggered into proactive violence mode over one thing while slightly to the left of it they hold other forms of mass killing of innocent civs and children as an acceptable standard.

Medvedev : "3. A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads."

medvedev adores to brag and threaten using their nuclear capabilities. he's their unleashed dog on social media. when lavrov says the same, it actually means something

Again, Iran didn’t pull out of the JCPOA. Even with all that, they still were back on the negotiating table and were set to continue negotiating with Trump on the Monday before the attack began. Instead Israel decides to take out the chief negotiator in a targeted attack. Diplomacy failed successfully in Bibis eyes.
