Even being charitable and accepting that this is the goal it hasn't worked since Germany and Japan post-WW2 and even one of those two countries was split in two for 50 years.
If wholesome regime change in the best interests of the civilian population is the objective why are western powers so bad at it? Why have no lessons been learned from....well the list of attempts is endless but highlights include Vietnam, Chile, Iraq, Syria and Libya.
What makes you think this case is different enough that going to war is the right thing to do?
