Mnmeth,You are mistaken .... Iran is fully aware that it wont be able to wipe Israel off the map.....they just want to be a world wide respected country.. they want the us and Israel to fear them, just as they fear India and Pakistan ..... Being an Islamic republic doesnt make it a terrorist goverment....

We don't want a new 1982. You live in Australia, come and live in your country and let Hezbolla fight Israel from there and let them invade YOUR country; Lebanon does not want that and it is the government's fault. Since 2000, Hezbolla should have been disactivated, now it is a bit too late, they have grown strong and they do what they want regardless of what the Lebanese government asks them to.

I wonder what would they ask for IF they accomplish their mission.
Lebanon is my country .. even if i dont hold its passport.... I understand how you feel .. and how you want lebanon to stop war and get on with building infrastructure.... Lebanon is a blessed country its too beautifull to be in war, but thats how it turned out to be...... Hezbollah may have provoked the Israelis to strike lebanon, but wasnt Israel striking lebanon even before Hezbollah existed... Israel knows that Lebanon is an enemy, Israel knows that all the arabs are enemies, and they cant deny that ... whatever they try to say, deep in their hearts they know that Arabs are not friends......

Hezbollah is doing something that no arab has ever tried to do before, regardless of where they strike from or who they represent they'll remain a group that stepped up and said no.

Muha, I believe what he says publicly. Also, Iran is suppling and ordering the actions of Islamic Jihad which is a group acting in Israel, and also has close relations with Hamas (even though it's suni)... these are all facts. Not to mention the supply of Hizballah. They're a hostile nation and all because of ayatollah. With the conflict vs Israel, everything originates from the iran rule.

If you want us to talk about who supplies who... then we should start with the U.S. and Israel.... Iran has its own agenda, and Israel doesnt want this agenda to be achieved..... Israel doesnt want a strong Islamic nation within its imaginary baorders.. its as easy as that.

It first started with Yaser Arafat :yuck: declaring war on Israel chosing Lebanon as base. After that the country went into civil war in its ugliest forms. Later things started to get smoother and better then Hezbolla supposedly kicked Israel out of the country SIX FUCKING years ago. So what the fuck are they still doing now?

As for you saying that deep in the hearts of Israelis, they know that Arabs are not friends, it is because this is what Arabs are, they are full of grudge and want revenge no matter who pays the price. The Palestinians already did and the Lebanese have and still are. As for the other Arabs they are "happy" on what is happening. I see Saudis, Kuwaitis, etc supporting Hezbolla, let Hezbolla fight Israel from their country and let me see how they will be reacting.

I think it is about time that this grudge disappears and Israel be accepted as a neigbouring country. Use them and their resources and let them use ours. Enough stupidity.

I must say they'll have to if Israel continues to target civilians with the U.S. made rockets
Is that anything contrary to what Hamas and Hezbollah has always done? It goes in circles with all parties equally guilty. Hamas murders innocent Israelis by means of suicide bombers while the Israeli army launches missiles haphazardly anywhere they want to. It's the same old story and will never end until everybody is dead.

I am afraid the stupidity I am wittnessing will lead to that. Any person with one grain of brain would have realized that what is going on will lead to no where.

Just observe how some members are happy that Hezbolla are threatening Israel; why are they glad? Do they see them getting somewhere? And if they do, where?

What will they win? Will Israel be freed and the Palestinians are brought back to their country? What will happen with the Israelis?

What is the battle being fought? Israel say that their goal is to eliminate Hizbolla, it seems a clear objective but apparently it is not that; I see it as expansion. If they are to eliminate Hezbolla, they could have done that already, it only takes a few days.

What is Hezbolla's objective? Eliminate Israel? They simply cannot! They are destroying Lebanon while doing that and their grudge and blindness is stopping them from seeing that.

What beats is why is Iran supplying Hezbolla with weapons and asking them to continue being parasites on Israel (from Lebanon) and at the same time they warn and blabber bull crap when Israel threatens Syria. There is something fishy about that and I am not at ease with it. I'd rather not turn this into a religious discussion, there is enough tension already.
