BEIRUT - Israeli warplanes pounded south Lebanon on Tuesday, killing at least six people, as world efforts to defuse the crisis brought no signs of an early end to the week-old assault in retaliation against Hizbollah attacks. The six civilians, all from one family, were killed during an air strike that hit a house shortly after midnight in a Lebanese border village. Israeli aircraft also hit Beirut's southern suburb and an army position overlooking the capital.

I hope it's not one of my friends or Rab who live in the south

Why the fuck would the Israeli goverment bomb a house full of civilians. So now ppl who believe that Israelis are targetting Hizbollah only see what kind of mess Israel is doing.

king Ale......how was it that Ahmadinejad came into power?

    Wasn't he democratically elected?
There were elections for sure, between a former, corrupt asshole who'd already been president before named Rafsanjani, and the quite unknown Ahmadinejad. The former a powerful and dangerous man, and the current president simply a puppet for the Religious Council.

    Take your pick.

Israel cant win this battle because:

1-For the first time since 1973 an arab force if challenging Isreal with relatively equal levels of strength.. im talkin rocket-wise, and ability to strike.

2-For the first time an arab force strikes a major industrial city like Haifa.

3-For the first time since 1982, israelis hide under ground for the fifth day running.

4-For the first time Isreal is sriking without any clear objective.

5- It rarely happens that an arab leader's speech is broadcasted and translated live on Isreali TV.

6- Israel cant use any of its nuclear weapons because it would simply destroy itself.

7-Israel cant land its troops in Lebanon because the Lebaneas would simply "Somalise" the Israelis.

Six years of building, training, and preparing is enough to show Israel that Hezbollah is not just an islamic party that chose to fight, its more than that.. and

i'm pretty sure that Hezbollah hasnt shown up everything up its sleeve, yet.

King Ale, I hope one day you can visit Israel again and I can visit Iran again. Before the Revoultion in 1979 Iran and Israel were friendly nations. There is no dispute between the peoples, and it's a horrible thing that Iran allowed the ayatollahs to go into this middle-age mentality of jihad and elimination of all heretics. Seriously, we're in the 21'st century and the world allows this to happen. I'm truly sorry.

Muha, I know very well what Jihad is. Second, he has established a system in which he finances and controls and orders terrorist attacks against Israel. He's establishing nuclear weapons with the aim of wiping Israel off the map. So don't doubt it.

We don't want a new 1982. You live in Australia, come and live in your country and let Hezbolla fight Israel from there and let them invade YOUR country; Lebanon does not want that and it is the government's fault. Since 2000, Hezbolla should have been disactivated, now it is a bit too late, they have grown strong and they do what they want regardless of what the Lebanese government asks them to.

I wonder what would they ask for IF they accomplish their mission.
