If you talk about fair, then if Palestinians can't have 1 prisoner why should Israel hold hundreds and perhaps thousands?
.
VOnAm, let me ask you this... you live in Indonesia ? You had some terror attacks, right ? Wouldn't you want those responsible for these bombings to be in jail ? Now let's say someone comes and captures a few Indonesian soldiers, wouldn't you want them back ? Wouldn't you still want those who bombed your clubs and public areas to still be in jail ? Just a thought.

well ofcourse, but what I've learned is that life is more complicated than that, if you look at it only from your own angle then yes we would be very angered by it.
Killing is wrong..especially when it involves people who are not connected to what ever caused the killing.

But there is in islam a sample,
in those old days, when somebody steals, his hand is amputated, and so there was a case when there was this thief, he stole, and during his hearing it turns out that he was very poor and only steal for survival, due to the mistreatments of his employers.
And because of this situation his empoloyers were questioned while the thief excaped the amputation punishment.

Some times, crimes are comited because of pure evil intentions, but many other times crimes are commited because of a previous mistreatment. It doesn't justify the crimes but it does provide a more human side towards it. And if we start understanding each other more rather than just passing easy judgement, it might lead to a world with less friction.

As regard to anger if my troops were kidnapped, well Im clear headed enough to understand just how terrible my own government is, the degree of corruption and hypocracy is tremendous, you wouldn't believe the amount of corruption in the military here, in the midst of suffering in many areas of indonesia. If a country or person dissed my government, I would consider it reasonable.

I hope you realize that despite your anger towards the killings, on your side, that your government isn't exactly doing the right thing, far from it. I don't hate jews or the israeli people but to be honest I despise the movement taken by its leaders. Like I said, sometimes you can forgive poor people from stealing but you can't forgive rich people from doing it.

ok my friend, you're making good points. Perhaps all governments make mistakes no doubt. But the Israeli population is suffering too, very hard at these moments. They're not rich or anything. The entire north of the country is bombed. I think suffering is suffering. I'm sorry for any innocent life being killed and I think it will go a long way if everyone feels the same. I remind you Israel is trying not to hit any civilians in lebanon while Hizballah is trying the exact opposite.

There's an internationally recognised border between Lebanon and Israel. Lebanon is in defiance of Secuirty Council Resoultion 425 (and they have the audacity of blaming Israel for U.N political decisions...) because they didn't dismantle a terrorist organization who already killed thousands of civilians all around the world, they're a lot worse than Bin Laden. So from Lebanon there's an act of war towards Israel, so Israel has every right to defend itself. It's all very simple really.
what border !? so you are saying that it is ok that Israeli forces can come inside Lebanon the time they want, but when Hizb Allah do the same (not even the same), they become the worst terorist organization? what kind of law is that?

Israel never respected the laws, don't fool yourself. and you are mixing Hizb Allah with others, Hamas maybe? on the other side Israel kill Innocent people too, and all the time. I am not taking anyone's side here, but I hate it when Nations with the most powerful forces act the innocent, that's why I respect when a small organization like Hizb Allah don't play these kind of mind games..

Just because Hamas Kidnaped a soldier, we saw how Palestinian homes were destroyed, the whole fucking Cities, I advise you to check the news man, check the number of Civilians died in Lebanon the last 3 days :disagree:

If Hezballah didnt exist, Lebanon would've instantly vanished under the growing Israel... I cant see why ppl are blaming Hezballah after what they did to Lebanon, their home land..... Some lebanease want Hezballah to go to hell just because they've got more power than their Militias, or Army , whatever you wanna call it, among other reasons of course.

There is no way Israel is gonna end this conflict unless they sit and talk with the lebaneas and the Palestinians... If Israel wants its soldiers, than its no big deal to exchange them with the thousands of Palestinian prisoners.... If Israel chooses the stubborn Im-the-only-one-here kind of reaction, then no one will benefit......

Israel knows that no one can destroy Hezballah, not even the arabs, hezballah is bigger than lebanon or the whole arabs world.. its in every individual who believes in freedom and fairness.

hey guys been a few days since i posted, we left our house today and moved to a family members place in a safer neighbourhood. We are waitning for both sides to come to agreement for a prisoner swap but Israel doesnt want that, they want war and i can tell u that the majority (around 80%) of the populatioin wants these BARBARIC AND TERRORIST acts of violence to a helpless people to stop. when will they learn that theyre American weapons will not solve any problems, only escalate the situation. they have over 10,000 prisoners in theyre jails and when 2 of theyre people are captured they act in a manner like what was done was unheard of. if they wanted 2 swap they would have already but they wish to bully a country already scarred by decades of war. I pray for all innocent civillians on both sides of the border to remain unharmed and hope for a quick end to these evil acts.
