Unlikely, you probably just have a huge amount of songs or porn (like me) which cause it to slow down when you run it.
that does't slow down anything Burke

Probably just an inefficient application. p2p apps actually do a lot of work with seeding, checksumming, keeping track of segments etc. All of this for a big number of files (depending on how much you share and download). And not all of them deal with it that well.

Same thing happened to me as well. I dont use LimeWire anymore. The only decent p2p nowadays is Soulseek, otherswise get torrent files.

Martin I am sharing like 20-30 files, and I limited the upload to 1(so I barely upload),and I was downloading 3 files at the time.my Msn is freezing my computer also at signing in,for a couple of minutes.could it be a worm or a spyware?I never had these problems before, like Ramin said and Nawaf also,Limewire uses a lot of the CPU,but is it normal to reach 90-95%??

Run Limewire offline when you're not otherwise using your computer, snoop. And not on default start-up.

I've found most programs that run on startup or that like to live in your system tray to be unecessary evils.
