So you believe in god? But even if you do, what on earth do you need the catholic church for? Do you also believe they have a super exclusive telephone connection to heaven?
No I don't believe in a super exclusive connection to heaven but I do believe in God, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, etc. and I believe in the Church being the people that Jesus left in charge to preserve what he did here on Earth

Bah, deep down, I've always been that way.
True but nowadays you're more cynical than ever. How are you gonna tell your mom you're not getting married by a Catholic priest?

See now that's surprising, didn't figure you for something like that. Don't you find the whole story rather.. hard to believe? :D

:jck: You see the row of four buttons at the bottom right of each post? Click on the second last one (the odd shaped one). It goes red. Now do that on another post. Finally, click "reply" on a third post. All three posts are quoted for you. :faq2:

All of these smilies are unhappy. What's the story?

Thank you!!!!!!

I'm already resigned to the fact that I'll probably have to go through with the Catholic ceremony.
And not believing in it? :sergio:

Marry a Jewish girl in a Rastafarian ceremony. That'll fuck with everyone's head.
Including mine, if she happens to be a Zionist.

So what? Who's your wedding for, you or them?

Don't make me break out the :sergio:
Some matters are out of your control, Martz.

What the ceremony means and Catholicism, among other things
Well that's just nonsense speculation from somebody who doesn't know me, among other things.

I am completely aware of what the ceremony means, even despite not having faith in the church. It's not as if I have lost faith in love and marriage, two matters that actually do exist for good reason.
