Very smart !

Henry , Ruud , Raul , Totti Scored alot from Penalty kicks and many other world class players. whats wrong with the penalty? you should be proud that you got one of the best penalty takers in the world , instead of just sitting and critisizin Dp.
thats exactly what i meant! we should be glad to have someone like Del Piero who takes on responsiblity and is one of the best penalty takers!!! I am not sure if any other of Juve would score so much from the penalty, cause the pressure is also very high!!!

Penaltys can decide matches and also Finals (CL Milan - Juve)!

Except that he's not one of the best penalty takers in the world. Good penalty takers dont choke under pressure.

He'll never be back to his 1998 best but if he can consistently do what he did yesterday against Siena I'd be delighted. Another season like the 02-03 one would make me a very happy Juventino.
agreed:thumb:

and we can judge anything by only one match, if alex can't score in the next few games, everyone will critize him again.

before,i said that i don't think del piero will ever get back to his best and i say so again now.he played very well on saturday, yes, but nowhere near his best.(if he were at his best he would've scored four with the chances he had.)

but i think i can safely say that he's on his way to a run of good form.:)

pressure doesn't come much bigger than having to take your team's final penalty in a CL shootout going in 2-1 down;)

I'm really surprised by the media saying he's on-form after yesterday's game. Apart from the goals, he was invisible for most of the match and missed a sitter. Here's to hoping these goals give him a boost in the right direction though.
The media r real boot lickers. Alex scored 2 goals in a game and he's on form? U can't judge much from juz a game.

Actually I like Del Piero as a person and player, I wish that his form can stay throughout the season, like wad he did aainst Siena.

You can't deny that Del Piero's one of the best penalty takers in the world. Everyone has to miss some time

He's on the up....but still no where near his best.......when at his best in 98..him and Ronaldo were probably the best in the World..........still a long road to recovery for DP.......;)

If DP continues to perform like he did against Siena I will be more than content.

DP was channel4's player of the week by the way.

exactly thats what we should give alex, if he plays like the siena match we should be more than satisfied. i was soo happy, even its not even half what he could've done two or three yrs ago.

Just forget about his form in the past and focus on the future.

The Roma match is essential in Alex's season i think. If he can play a good match against a team that would just like to kill him , then he would take a huge step.

    Even if he didn't have a good match on thursday always remember ;
Form is only temporary, class is permanent
