That's what you get for betting against Korea

France were ridiculously favoured in the betting odds, given their form

Unlucky guys with the combos. I think from that Round 1 matches Sweden was the big shock and the only one to drown my combo too.

Had a few bets here and there this World Cup but nothing serious. Weather has been good here in England hence less time online and therefore less bets. Still watching football and tennis for pure enjoyment with some nice weather and beers isn't too bad and it's always good to go back to just the basics.

From a betting point of view the World Cup has been difficult. Few shocks so difficult to bet on underdogs but the favourites generally just doing enough to win. Once the knockouts start it could get interesting especially with underdogs forcing extra-time.

May be back in then...until then good luck as ever guys.

It's Spain tradition to quit the major tours early :D
Yeah. Along with Portugal these were huge gifts from the bookmakers. Well, really it's the fault of the public who somehow believed Holland and Spain were much stronger when they were 50/50 at best.

Same mistake for Portugal v England again this weekend too. More on that later and maybe some more tennis bets from Wimbledon tomorrow along with that pending one as the match wasn't completed (Djokovic took the first set 7-6).

Still waiting for Hewitt to finish off that combo after Seppi offered Agassi little resistance. :disagree:

hey intro! just et on germany! they will win! believ me! :)
Looking at the odds for this one is incredible. Germany are favourites as you think but this match is a real flip of the coin. Perhaps the team who plays better wins or it is decided by refereeing decisions or small details. For that reason Argentina are a huge price to win inside 90 minutes. Part of me thinks everyone has forgot how bad the German defence looked exactly three weeks ago. :eyebrows:

Anyway no bet for me - just watching with much interest to see how Pekerman and Klinsmann handle things.

World Cup bets on Portugal and Brazil though on Saturday may even play two bets on each that's how confident I am right now on those.
