    Who will contest the Champions League Final 2006? (Who will be the finalists?) FC Arsenal - FC Barcelona - 50.00 @ 1.65 = 82.5

    I bet all that money on Ronnie (to win the 24th frame) after he was leading 12-11. Live bet btw. 82.50 @ 1.20 = 99

    and also played some Casino (the shit is in my blood :cry:)

    Barca vs milan > 2.5 goals 10@ 2.10

    not bad :cool:
    Good stuff Snoop and a nice first couple of days profit :agree:. Some very risky staking and decision making which is fine when you are winning but there's always a downside too so be sure to leave some aside for those 'bad' days.

    It's 4 points, not easy for a relegation battler to earn 4 points in 3 games, but I also checked the fixtures, Cagliari has tough matches after this one Inter last week. and Messina has easier fixture.

    you could be right, anyway Good luck..

    I admit, I played it very risky, specially the Snooker, the time I was thinking to bet, it was 1.7, but when I bet, it was 1.2. I won't bet another live betting again :undecide:

    Squeeze another tennis bet for Friday before looking into the weekend's football.

    Tennis:
    ALMAGRO v Ferrero: 20.00 @ 1.83 (Bet365)

    If this stays true to form it's an absolute steal - Ferrero is priced on reputation and squeezed past the now retired Albert Costa yesterday. Almagro thrashed Coria which was predicted an is one of the form players currently. They met two weeks ago in Valencia where Almagro won. Now I've posted this I've seen the price hasn't lasted and now Almagro is favourite but odds of 1.75 at Stan James still seem OK.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 17/11/2/1
    Starting Bank: 200.00
    Current Bank: 303.00
    Pending: 20.00

    Bet365: 99.40
    Gamebookers: 60.60
    Paddy Power: 40.00

    Ok time to concentrate on weekend football action. Looking into research for possible bets right now and we're at that tough end-of-season section. The coupons look very difficult to squeeze out good bets.

    Here's an instant thought in the big early Saturday kick-off in the EPL:

    Chelsea v Man Utd:
    A possible play on the draw here. I don't usually bet on draws as I don't favour that outcome. However, this is the situation I like with Chelsea needing only a point here to confirm the EPL title. Man Utd will be stiff opposition and Chelsea won't want to lose and it's very doubtful if they can win with their current condition. Mourinho has played for a draw in these type of situations before like Arsenal(H) last season. Maybe it would be better to drop stakes though for this one.

    Anyone else have something strong for this weekend?

    The first bet I've taken for the weekend is inspired by a type of bet Jeeks dabbled on in midweek :agree: and builds upon some of my initial thoughts. It's rather a creative type of bet and one which can result in a relatively very big win if hit correctly and I've had a handful of such occasions this season.

    To explain those who are not aware of what a 'Trixie' bet is:
    - It is based around 3 selections which are combined to form 4 bets; 3 doubles and a treble of all possible permutations.
    - The most efficient way of playing this bet is with each bet taken at an equal stake. So each selection at odds of evens (2.00) or higher then 2 from 3 winning selections will result in stakes back (with possibly a profit) - but usually all 3 needed for a big 'jackpot-type' win.

    Selections:

    Chelsea v Man Utd: X @ 3.10 - Explained in the last post.

    Liverpool to win to nil @ 2.10 - Liverpool are one of the form teams right now and this is a likely home win with Villa the complete reverse. Odds are very low for a home win so I like this one where 12 out of 14 of Liverpool's home league wins have been without conceding.

    HEARTS v Celtic @ 2.63 - Celtic have won the league and since then have had 2 draws. Hearts have do-or-die matches with Rangers only 4 points behind with 3 matches remaining to hold onto 2nd place and gain that CL place. Their last match is against Rangers so they will look to win the 2 matches before then to confirm that. Celtic will show professionalism but a defeat at Hearts who are formidable at home (Celtic stole a 3-2 win coming back from 2-0 down on New Year's Day) but the supporters wouldn't mind their team losing as it would hurt their rivals Rangers.

    Trixie:
    Chelsea v Man Utd [DRAW] x Liverpool [Win to nil]: 5.00 @ 6.51 (Bet365)
    Chelsea v Man Utd [DRAW] x Hearts: 5.00 @ 8.15 (Bet365)
    Liverpool [Win to nil] x Hearts: 5.00 @ 5.52 (Bet365)
    Chelsea v Man Utd [DRAW] x Liverpool [Win to nil] x Hearts: 5.00 @ 17.12 (Bet365)

    Back later perhaps with some more 'solid' bets.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 18/11/2/4
    Starting Bank: 200.00
    Current Bank: 319.60
    Pending: 20.00

    Bet365: 116.00
    Gamebookers: 60.60
    Paddy Power: 40.00
    Stan James: 52.40

    Pathetic display from Man Utd means the trixie fails and it will be a wait to see if the other two can be successful to bring back a smaller profit. How anyone can dispute Chelsea are the best team in England or that Man Utd have a chance next season is beyond me watching this display.

    Adding two other bets:
    Middlesbrough v EVERTON(+0AH): 20.00 @ 1.89 (Stan James)
    Liverpool(1.35) x Bayern(1.45) x Barcelona(1.21): 20.00 @ 2.37 (Gamebookers)

    Middlesbrough have rested a lot of players and don't take these games seriously with only UEFA Cup Final their interest now. Not sure if Everton can get the win but they should be able to manage a draw which would see stake back.

    Yes. I have much to learn from the master :agree:. If I vGambled I would lose my shirt as the bookies here are ruthless.

    Munich won 1:0 so just Juve left mate. Good luck with that one but I'll certainly enjoy a slip-up that Milan need. :p

    Waiting on Barca (leading 1-0 at HT) then will update the condition of my account for today and post some more bets for tomorrow.

    Perfect day for solid bets - only blip was the adventurous trixie which had a huge upside but naturally failed due to risky nature of selections. Proving that only slow-and-steady works in the long-run :D .

    Saturday's results:

    Failed trixie:
    Chelsea v Man Utd [DRAW] x Liverpool [Win to nil]: 5.00 @ 6.51 => 0.00 (Bet365)
    Chelsea v Man Utd [DRAW] x Hearts: 5.00 @ 8.15 => 0.00 (Bet365)
    Liverpool [Win to nil] x Hearts: 5.00 @ 5.52 => 0.00 (Bet365)
    Chelsea v Man Utd [DRAW] x Liverpool [Win to nil] x Hearts: 5.00 @ 17.12 => 0.00 (Bet365)

    Middlesbrough v EVERTON(+0AH): 20.00 @ 1.89 => 37.80 (Stan James)
    Liverpool(1.35) x Bayern(1.45) x Barcelona(1.21): 20.00 @ 2.37 => 47.40 (Gamebookers)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 20/15/2/0
    Starting Bank: 200.00
    Current Bank: 364.80
