    I gave up NBA the season before last. Doubt I'll ever go back for that living in England and having no interest in American Sports. Playing the handicaps and the two-outcome possibilities make it profitable for those in the know - especially when the line changes in your favour.

    I've got my eye on some tasty tennis matches tomorrow. More on that in the morning and there is the weekend football action.

    Any tips on who to go for on the tennis matches tomorrow?

    I hardly play lines, i play combos. i could never master playing the lines. i really dont know that much about basketball but i found it easier. its very rare for there 2 be an upset. the bigger team wins 80% of the time.

    I'd look at the combo I've gone for. I've posted it really late so I'll doubt you can catch it. Although I don't like combos in general and Nieminen is pretty risky.

    I'm a gutsy punter and like the look of two outsiders today (Gonzalez and Vliegen).

    Saturday:

    Add some later tomorrow...

    Adding another couple:

    Reading v Chelsea [Drogba to score anytime]: 20.00 @ 2.10 (VCBet)
    Getafe v REAL(-0.5AH): 20.00 @ 1.95 (Bet365)

    Drogba's price is too good to refuse given his recent form. With Sevilla going to Barca this is the type of fixture Capello excels in. Real have problems in defence and Getafe is a local rival where they've not won the past two seasons but I expect a narrow win i.e. 1-0.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 69/71/5/4
    Current Bank: 127.80
    Starting Bank: 100.00
    Pending: 80.00

    Bet365: 54.40
    Gamebookers: 0.00
    Paddy Power: 20.00
    Stan James: 33.40
    VC Bet: 20.00

    Why you sad Snoop? You a fan of 'Fatty' :D. Gonzalez beat Roddick today too. Roddick's price was a joke but I wouldn't have expected Gonzalez to win. If he meets Ivan Ljubicic in the final I could take the Chilean if the price is right. Actually will have to check if it's best of 3 or 5 sets too.

    Those last two bets were a waste of time...should have played the low goals market in both the Milan and Real matches.

    Results:

    Sparta v ALKMAAR(-1.5AH): 20.00 @ 2.10 => 42.00 (VCBet)

    Reading v Chelsea [Drogba to score anytime]: 20.00 @ 2.10 => 0.00 (VCBet)
    Getafe v REAL(-0.5AH): 20.00 @ 1.95 => 0.00 (Bet365)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 71/73/5/0

    Thats a brilliant odd. Do you really think Bjorkman would win?
    Well Grosjean has been suffering from tendonitis in his shoulder last week. A poor defeat to Kubot there in the second round. He requested a Tuesday start which was denied by the organisers.

    It's worth a shot considering Grosjean's form has been patchy all year. Bjorkman showed he is still capable at this level when at his best. An injury on Grosjean's side would definitely help.

    Actually, it's better to take this one at a bookmaker who pays on retirement (i.e. the player into the next round). That's what I've done in real (VCBet don't - they void the bet).

    It's worth a punt definitely - low stakes at least.
