Criscito is better than Antonelli or Ranocchia and i would bring him. can play LB/LCB which gets you flexibility when/if changing formations. if they play with 3 at the back they dont need 7 defenders anyway, especially since both Criscito and Darmian can play fullbacks/wingbacks

Jorginho and Motta are both better than Parolo. thats the main criteria i go by. but neither will start in a 2 man midfield so its not a big deal.

i put Vazquez there randomly, i prefer Berardi but there is no chance hell make the squad.

i dont mind Giaccherini, but both Soriano and Bonaventura are having a better season and deserve the call over him. but in the end, Conte will take the guys you mentioned 99%, this was just a list of players id prefer.

When you compare Brazil's offensive trio of Douglas Costa, Neymar and Willian to an inexperienced Neymar, Fred, Hulk... Night and day difference, must be said.

Although Alex Sandro > Luis obviously. @Zacheryah

i was just thinking after our games vs Bayern how Brazil has competent offensive players again besides Neymar. Costa, Willian, Firmino, Coutinho. it looks much better than a few years ago. they still dont have a CF but with Neymar and Firmino able to play as the lone striker they dont even need one

lol why

i liked the 3-4-3/3-6-1 we saw today, hope Conte keeps it.

id go with something like this for the EUROs

Buffon/Sirigu/Perin

Darmian/Barzagli Bonucci/Astori Chiellini/Criscito

Florenzi/Bernardeschi Verratti/Jorginho Marchisio/Motta Bonaventura/Soriano

Candreva/Vazquez Eder/Zaza Shaarawy/Insigne

Pelle is useless, dont take him
Why Giovinco?

Because he is tearing apart teams in North America. Maybe that doesn't help you against good Euro-teams but against a team like Ireland, he could flat out tear them apart.

Insigne + Giovinco just in terms of creativity would be very difficult for any defense to deal with.

Indeed. You could argue it's one, if not the best attacking line in International Football. Maybe second to Argentina... Although, Costa has been wreaking havoc since day one at Bayern, not sure if I'd place Di Maria ahead of him this season. Neymar is 10 times more effective for his NT than Messi and then there's Higuain and Aguero as CFS while Brazil have none worth mentioning. But like you said both Neymar and Firmino can do that role.

Midfield is good, 2 good attacking mids (Coutinho, Renato Augusto) but then decent volantes. The defence is where the problem is. Great fullbacks, not good enough CBs. David Luiz should never wear this shirt again and Miranda is past his best.

How bout we get danilo and get dat double flank action back
That would be dope.

would be great if Firmino could return to his form from last 2 seasons. imagine him with the trio that played yesterday in a 4-2-3-1/4-2-4. and Coutinho as 1st sub :tuttosport:

id expect Marquinhos to grow into that CB they need. he was a great talent at Roma, not sure how he does at PSG though. cant think of anyone else at the moment who could become good enough. also would like to see Allan called for midfield.
