Because Tevez is frozen from Argentina's squad since 2011, and Llorente isn't being called by Del Bosque
never mind, at least they will be available to play against the A league 11

I hate Montolivo playing for Italy, imo he has no right to be in the team and is only there because he played for Prandelli at Fiorentina. There are much better CM's than that guy. I really dont even know what he brings to the team when i see him play. He is pretty average at everything he does.

As much right as Marchisio surely.

Montolivo actually played really good at Euro 2012 for Italy, particularly in the semi-final against Germany.

Dude he sucks, he had 1 good game against Germany and that was it. Marchisio had a poor game today but he is a much better player than Montoshitty. Marchisio can atleast spread the ball nicely and sit deep protecting the back 4. Montolivo doesn't do shit when he plays he really doens't.

Besides, just because a player had a few good games a couple years ago doesn't mean that he automatically deserves a spot now. He's been underwhelming for a while now.

If it was just one or two games, I would agree with you, but he has poor or average games more often than great ones.
lol wat?! He's one of Milan's best players this season, the only one who performs to a certain degree, consistently. Last season as well. Without Montolivo Milan look far worse, quite noticeable whenever he's absent; last weekend for instance when he made way for Honda, Milan looked like a different team. Why are people questioning his qualities is beyond me.
@89man your thoughts on Montolivo as you've probably seen more Milan's games than me?

Names please? You don't think he should be invited at all?
