Gigi's positioning is his best attribute. Even if he screws up or loses focus for a second, he's in a good place to make the save anyway. Plus he seems pretty good at controlling the box through presence and organization of the defense.

I hate the Casillas-Gigi debate. There is no debate. It's clear Gigi is better. Even if you take a simple aspect of the game like free kicks. I see free kicks go in on Casillas every other week in La Liga. Can't even remember the last time Gigi gave one up.

Then you have those instances where Casillas just tips over on his side on breakaways just like every other goalie in the world minus Buffon. My god, it is plainly obvious who is better.

Even so, if I was staffing a squad and needed a GK with Man City's money, I'd make a beeline for Gigi and would leave Casillas behind. :stuckup:
