No surprise there, Switzerland are an awesome team. Very talented and young
:agree: ... plenty of Balkan talent on their team :p

too bad they didn't make it to the Euro's and now we'll have to relish the mighty Poland and Ukraine instead

as talented as the Swiss are, however, Germany have been utter crap today and have their work cut out for them in bringing the team up to speed for the Euros

I've fallen asleep to Portugal-Macedonia.

Paulo Bento has his contract renewal, and the team has resorted back to its lethargic play and useless finishing.

Balkan? Only Shaqiri, Xhaka and Mehrami as far as I know. Might overlook some.

Germany were without the Bayern players today so no real surprise they were crap. Hummels was shockingly bad today.

only? :p ... and yeah, you did overlook Derdiyok, Inler, Behrami, Džemaili among others too :D

they were but their replacements should have been more than capable to take their place and also in defense and midfield, where the big issue were today for the Germans, they only missed Schweini and Lahm with all the rest being the most likely starters for the Mannschaft at the Euros.
imo, today's drubbing by a talented but far from free-scoring Swiss team, was due to the Germans not being ready or simply disinterested, or both, and not so much the absentees.
They better hope this was a one-off game and a wake up call for the team as opposed to a sign of a more lasting stretch of bad outings as vs France they didn't look very sharp either ... today they were simply atrocious, tbh.

Holland played bad the 1st half vs Bulgaria, didn't create many chances. The goal from van Persie was nice though, and hopefully Mathijsen isn't badly injured because playing with Bouma is just asking for troubles.

Holland is really thin at CB these days. Mathijsen ain't that great but is probably your best CB.
Has Heitinga been called up for the Euros? ... I just glanced at the game and didn't notice him on the field and then Bouma came on as a sub.

P.S. never mind, I just saw Heitinga on the field

They could be disintrested or not ready for it although Switzerland's midfield deserves some credit. They were beasts out there.

They didn't look sharp against France? Disagree, France always had the better of Germany (just like Germany always have the better against England :D) but during that match the French simply outplayed the Germans.
