True, but how good will he be? I'm sure it will take him a while to get back in the groove. If we give up Agger in January we run the risk of becoming desperately thin at the center back position, especially with Hobbs on loan.

And I don't really know how good Gourcuff is. I haven't seen him play. So from my perspective the "trade" should be a no go.
