They have been dreadful. I am more confident in our chances after this kind of game.
I just told my dad that Croatia can win if Brazil plays like this.

Pretty sad to see Cesar, Gustavo, Paulinho and Fred starting for Brazil.

We had more and better chances. Even Petkovic who's a bad player has been good and can even be a starter in their first XI.

Brazil is playing like garbage, mainly because Oscar and Hulk are playing like shit, and Neymar needs a ball oly for him. And Fred is a non factor during 99% of the game.

Oscar and Hulk are irregular players, you can't count on them 100% of the time.

But the team is pretty solid, physically strong, with athletic players. Luiz and Silva normally perform very well together, and fullbacks are top on the world. Paulinho is very underrated, he's a very very strong and quick DM. Gustavo ain't bad as a DM.

The team is solid but very far away from previous teams, talent-wise. But IMO it's the favourite to win it all.

I think Brazil is very fragile, even if they win 3-0 tonight. We could have scored 2-3 goals in the first half, but our players are scared and they panic it out.

Favorite to win the WC? Judging by this performance I'd say both Spain and Germany would be able to score 5 against Brazil.

He's not even playing for Tottenham.

I hope those refs wont be officiating when the competition starts. What a terrible decision, clear goal ruled out. Serbia could have scored moments ago before the incident.

Yep, we saw that in Confederations Cup.

Don't fool yourself, Brazil, if not that talented, is a very solid team.
This is the weakest Brazil I've ever seen play. Maybe I underrate them because they always delivered way more. But these performances do not impress me.

I'm not saying they are weak, but they can be beaten by top teams easily.

Today is specially a bada performance by the team.

Brazil can definitely be beaten by any top team. But not easily, mainly in Brazil. Just like any top team can be beaten by any top team. Germany is showing a lot of fragilities recently, Spain seems to lack aggresiveness..

The amosphere, the environment, will be very beneficial to Brazil. It's not a coincidence that so far no European has won a WC in South America. Brazil is the favourite because of this. If this WC was at any other place, I would fancy Brazil's chances as much as those of Italy - a strong competitor, dangerous team, but no the favourite.

And actually, 2010 Brazil was worse IMO.

Robinho, Luis Fabiano, shitty Kaka...

Willian should be starting for you. The game changed since he came on. Definitely can provide that spark of creativity and he is pacey mofo. Another disappointing performance from Neymar, no surprises there.

Weakest of the strongest might be a perfect description for me. But yeah, Brazil hosting it is the only advantage IMO.

We'll see how it goes.

Cesar, Paulinho, Gustavo, Fred, Fernandinho and many other so-so and you-never-know-it players in this Brazil. This is like the first time you play different and in a way I don't like it.

Hell, you might even win, what the heck do I know... I just don't like what I'm seeing for sure. I miss the old Brazil when Ronaldo used to play.

but one of brazil's greatest assets in the WC imo is its ability to overcome pressure and just 'play' football, but i feel like with this home world cup, especially with all the bad publicity, they might succumb
They also have a massive advantage due to the climate, same as most of the other South-American teams.

So far, every World Cup hosted in South America has been won by a South-American team.
