South American and (to a lesser extent) European teams to dominate the next World Cup.

No African teams (except maybe Ghana) or Asian team (with the exception of Japan perhaps) to make it past the 2nd round. All Concacaf teams, with the possible exception of the US, to unceremoniously be dumped out in the group phase.

My predictions for the QF lineup (provided the draw goes according to plan): Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium.

Doubt Japan will make it the way they have been playing lately. They just won't score enough goals.

There will always be shocks in tournaments, especially in the conditions some will face in Brazil, so wouldn't surprise me if it isn't in fact the strongest 8 teams in the QF.

England are one of the 8 strongest teams? :D

They look to have a decent attacking set up now, but you know in the tournament Woy will go defensive from fear of the horrendous defending on counters as seen last night, England has no great defenders aside from Ashley Cole, and it'll end in tears. If England are based in the north-east of the country you can also expect them to suffer a lot, whether that is an excuse or not. Some teams will deal with it better.

Terry doesnt play for the NT anymore. I don't rate Cahill that highly to be honest, the only thing he seems to be consistenly good at, is blocking shots with last ditch tackles, he;s really good at that :p
