Thomas plays as an lb for you? That is stupid, isn't he your best defender?

Thats like playing Chiellini as a leftback, isn't it?

How about Hazard, i always hear that he isn't as good with the NT as he is at club level, is that still the case?
Either Vermaelen or Kompany is our best defender, so yeah it's incredibly stupid to play him as a leftback. Not only do you weaken your CB pairing by not playing the best, you also weaken your full back position.
You know, in the game against Germany, we had 5 central defenders on the pitch: one at LB, one at RB & one in the middle. It's absurd.

As for Hazard, I paid special attention to him as it was the first time that I got to see him live. And I think he did quite well at times, posing a real threat. But at the same time he also went missing for large parts of the game. So there's definitely still room for improvement.

Not much choice today. These are the most interesting matches. Who will you guys watch tonight?

20:00 cet Turkey- Belgium
20:30 Serbia - Slovenia
20:30 Croatia - Greece
20:30 Norway - Portugal
20:45 Switzerland - England
20:50 Italy - Faroe Islands
21:00 Bosnia-Herzegovina - France

I'm guessing most will go for their NT's or Italy (that's why I put Italy above). For those who don't have their NT playing and aren't particularly interested in watching Italy beating the Faroes, what's your choice?

I want to watch Croatia but I want to watch Bosnia-France too. Turkey-Belgium is another match I'd love to watch. 30 minutes difference between these matches so I can't watch them all :(

    Wow, how times change.
From the interview with the Bosnian coach Safet Susic:

    - I promise you that we will not underestimate France.
    - If you offer me 0:0 now I won't accept it. I want all 3 points.
    - If all our players contribute in defense than we won't have any problems to win this match.

Aren't these words that normally the French coach should be saying before facing a team like Bosnia? :D

If I wasn't going to the game, at home I'd definitely watch Bosnia-France. :agree:

That's the one I'm interested in. He's cheap, but if he plays I expect him to bring me lots of points against San Marino.
In the highlights I saw Elmander getting some injury? Is he available? If not, then I guess Toivonen will start.
The papers said that out of the injured players (Isaksson, Svensson, Elmander) only Isaksson has gone back home and the rest were able to practice. Not sure if they'll get a start though. In the game vs Hungary it was Toivonen and Elmander up top with Zlatan playing behind them.

    Oh, cool.
So Ola to start and bang in a hat-trick.

This kid was promoted to the senior team, eh?
Do you follow his development? Showed really nice skills, vision and big potential in last years's u-21.

Yes he's really good but he still makes some silly errors. With some experience he'll be great. Ola and Sebastian were also in the U21 and the new coach Hamren is really focused on those who played in the latest U21 Euros.

Rightfully so. That young team showed some great potential.

I see that the new u-21 Swedish team is also doing fine so far. They're leading their qualification group and they only need a draw today to win the group.

Ekdal was called up to replace Anders Svensson but someone looked over the fact that he was suspended for a match from his U21 days so he can't be played but practiced with the team nonetheless.
