Well, Victoria Day just got a hell of a lot better. Hung over and watching the pummelling of a lifetime. Why does Canada have a team? :sergio:

I really hope the English allow the score to make them think they are great and don't look at the obviously flaws in their play that were exposed by the Mexicans.

Little known fact:

Guillermo Franco is actually called Guillermo Franco Farquarson because his grandfather is from Aberdeen.

Ferdinand is finished, Capello could easily have made the biggest mistake of his coaching career by making him captain.

At least other people saw it, speaking to other England fans they seemed to have been dazzled by the scoreline, that was a terrible first half performance.

We switched to a more rugged 4-4-2 than a 4-5-1 in the second half and looked alot more comfortable doing so my formation would be this:-

Hart

Johnson-Terry-King-Cole

Lennon-Gerrard(C)-Lampard-A.Johnson

Rooney-Crouch

I hope Rio gets injured before it starts it would be a blessing in disguise.

First half especially, yea.

I wasn't all that impressed by King. Every time people tell me how he's as good as England's finest CBs when not injured, he looks shakey at times.

He looked alot better next to Carragher, Ferdinand is always out of posistion and that leaves King isolated because Baines is utter wank and Johnson forgets he has to defend at times.

Yeah that's true. That LB Baines was pretty bad and Rio was all over the place.

I always feel King is a tad slow though, like right at the start where he got turned and nearly caused a penalty. I admit not having seen that much of him though.
