Anyways, as you guys can see, my team is more of a Euro2004 team rather than an International team because there are no Argentinians or Brazilians or whatever.

Maybe the thread name should be changed to Euro dream team seeing that all of the teams posted contain European players only?

Since when has Rosicky played on the left, Davids on the right, and Pires as a playmaker?!!

You said that the teams should be picked on how the players have done on the International scene only, right? So why is Miccoli there? What has he done for Italia?

from what i've HEARD, he's made a good start to Azzurri career..

Well, he's only played in friendlies and he's yet to register a goal so...

Anyways, I made my team according to how well players have been doing with their countries during the Euro2004 qualifiers that's why I left out players like Vieri and RVN because they have been quite disappointing.

I've made my team based on my own preferences. I haven't heard any comment until now

Well, your back three + goalkeeper look pretty good, and Davids has been impressive in Euro2004 qualifying, but Rosicky doesn't see as much glory with the Czech NT as he does with Borussia Dortmund because of the influences that Marek Jankulovski and of course Pavel Nedved have on the team and Pires hasn't really done much during qualifying. He missed a couple of games due to injury I believe... The same goes for Vieira... Henry has been good but Makaay doesn't see too much playing time. Advocaat prefers Kluivert and Van Nistelrooy.

Can I have a little credit ? These men are wonderful in clubs, they can manage in NT too. When did France scored in the Confi Cup ? Immediately after Pires entered . And Rosicky is a regular goal-scorer for his country, check the stats. Makaay hasn't got the occcasion to play and this bugs me, but his day will come soon
