NOTHING will happen to them, because Inter has way too much influence on this league (Guido Rossi anyone ??)

I really prefer not to dwell on this crap. This is, afterall, the same behavior Inter exhibited for the past 18 years towards Juve.

I didnt say you needed those players i said that they can easily walk into juve's team.Meaning they are better than the players in their given position.

I hope for the day Inter gets demoted, then Inter will become a hypermarket.

On 2nd thought, I'm just dreaming. I still think that nter can get away with it.

I dont want inter to go to serie B , if juve win the scudetto it should be a scudetto with all the big teams , this year inter won the scudetto but got no respect at all.
Revenge would be all the more sweeter if juve can get it on the pitch

I tend to agree...but the spiteful side of me wants to see them crash in B, for all the trash talking they, and their fans have done all season about us

If Inter get convicted (like they really would:disagree: ), they should get punished.

Relegate them, let them lose half of their current team, let them go fight with other serie B teams, let them find their own way back to serie A.

Then they could play against Juve. And we could beat them on our 'sweet revenge' mission. I do want a fair game against them on the pitch. But the conditions have to be fair and square.

One of the main justifications of the accounting profession is committing to "Going Concern" principle. That means that it has to work to keep living, not to have any doubts about its future. If the company does lose while it falsifies its accounts, then there is a danger that it will not go on in the future and it may make a big fuss in the calcio if it goes bankrupt during the football season. Imagine a football club claiming bankruptcy during the season. How will they continue playing? Will they ignore its results and what about those who played against it and those who didn't? Will it be fair?
Oh, to see inter go the way of Third Lanark!

Could Inter be demoted?
Wednesday 20 June, 2007
Lawyers warn that Inter could be demoted to Serie B if the financial scandal is proved in the sporting courts!

The club has been named as part of an investigation into creative accounting in Serie A and a member of the Covisoc – the association that performs financial checks on Italian clubs – accused them of fiddling their 2005-06 accounts with artificially inflated player values, known as plusvalenze.

At first it seemed as if this would only result in a fine for the Nerazzurri, but specialist lawyer Mattia Grassani has a very different view.

“Financial fraud is a very serious crime, second only in the sporting justice system to sporting fraud,” he noted.

“The sanctions for directors go from a simple fine to up to five year suspensions with the possibility of a lifetime ban.

“For clubs the punishment can be either a fine, points penalties or even demotion. In the rules there is also the possibility of stripping the Scudetto, but that is up to the Federation President to decide.”

After Juventus were relegated to Serie B for their part in the Calciopoli scandal with Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio and Reggina all given points penalties, will the justice system be equally as harsh on Inter?

“First of all we must ascertain whether Inter or indeed any other side has falsified financial documents, thanks to which they entered a competition that they would otherwise not have been qualified for,” explained former Investigative team member Mario Stagliano.

“In that case, we could begin inflicting the penalties set down by the rules.”

Although Inter are the newest additions to this investigation, Milan, Reggina and Sampdoria have already been named as part of the inquest.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good question
I feel sorry for Samp and Reggina, But the "vent du Nord" ........ NO!

I would love a Serie C with Inter vs Arezzo and because we feel sorry for Conte we just loan out our team for a day to them and Inter lose 10-0.
 That would make up for "not helping his team stay in B"

On the contrary dont you think it would be sweet to nick some quality players from your rivals???
They don't have "Juve" quality players. Veirra and Ibra back? No thanks!

As sweet as it is that Inter might be relegated...and that Milan is somehow involved as well...it's going to ruin Italian football. Try telling someone "Yea..Juve won this year!!"

-"You mean the year after you got relegated for match-fixing...in a league without 2 of your strongest competitors?"
You mean in a league without the two biggest cheats!

I really prefer not to dwell on this crap. This is, afterall, the same behavior Inter exhibited for the past 18 years towards Juve.
It's time inter had a taste of their own medicine! :p

It's a different case with us Farah, I mean IF Inter get relegated, and we actually won the scudetto, no one could come and say "you won a crippled scudetto with no big teams!" Why? Well we always have won it, crippled or not. Which is not really the case with Inter ;)

As for revenge, yes I tend to agree with that, on the pitch is much sweeter. But still just imagine Inter relegated, and we knowing how Inter is, no heart, no determination, and a team full of mercenaries, do not actually make a swift come back? :D Then dwindle to become a nothing? Just like Hellas Verona is playing in Serie C only 20 years from winning the scudetto :D

Inter won't face wiretap penalty Friday 22 June, 2007
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter will not be disciplined in an investigation into alleged spying on Christian Vieri, Ronaldo and referee Massimo De Santis, among others.

The club was accused of wire-tapping and setting private investigators on to figures including their own players and former Messina director of sport Mariano Fabiani before the Calciopoli scandal broke out.

An inquest was launched and Vieri has begun proceedings for a civil action against the side, but it was today confirmed that Inter will not face any sporting disciplinary measures.

The Federal Prosecutor found that there were “no particular situations requiring disciplinary action.”

The story of Inter following their players broke out around a year ago and included Adrian Mutu, Ronaldo and ex-Sampdoria man Vladimir Jugovic.

However, Vieri is continuing his legal action and has requested £14m in damages.

Meanwhile, disgraced ex-Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has formally requested that the authorities “destroy” all transcripts of the wiretapped telephone conversations that formed the basis of the Calciopoli trial.

He is suing several major newspapers for “publishing pages of excerpts from these so-called wiretaps despite the law banning the publication of trial evidence until at least one verdict has been announced.”

Instead not only were the transcripts leaked to the Press, but before the Calciopoli trial had even begun copies of some telephone conversations were played on national radio.
