L`Inter in passato ha praticamente "regalato" al Milan l`olandese Seedorf e Pirlo. La passata stagione ha rinforzato la Juventus con Cannavaro e pochi giorni fa ha visto lo svincolato Vieri, in rete un centinaio di volte con la maglia nerazzurra, approdare ai "nemici" del Milan.

Ora però potrebbe finalmente prendersi una piccola rivincita: infatti in Argentina affermano che la dirigenza starebbe valutando l`ipotesi di ingaggiare Marcelo Salas. Il 30enne cileno si trova da due stagioni al River Plate e fino ad una settimana fa era ancora di proprietà della Juventus; svincolato e libero di accasarsi dove meglio preferisce potrebbe tornare in Italia per rinforzare il reparto offensivo di Mancini. Il tecnico lo conosce bene grazie ai trascorsi alla Lazio quando ancora era un giocatore e non disdegnerebbe di vederlo arrivare alla Pinetina. Salas gradirebbe la destinazione meneghina ed ha già informato il suo procuratore di cercare un accordo. Non a caso le trattative con il River Plate si sono interrotte bruscamente e senza motivo. A convincere Salas sarebbe stata una lunga telefonata con Ivan Zamorano che in passato ha vestito la maglia dell`Inter.

I know there is word going around that Salas is a money grabber but in my impression that notion is... correct. Instead of signing for River Plate, where he's been recuperating the last 2 seasons and apparently quite happy, he turned them down cause he wanted more money..

After he recently rescinded his Juve contract worth some 60k a week, I'm not surpised that whatever River may have offered him has failed to sustain his interest..

He was also owed 2 month's wages. That's right, from River Plate. That means although Juve were probably paying 50%+ of his wages, River had trouble coming up with the rest. And Marcelo probably doesn't want to play for a club which can't afford to pay him what he wants.

Ahte thie per week crap, never can figure out how much it is.

Anyways, his salary was 3.7 mil €.
