Was it Thiago Motta who said he likes having a smaller squad of around 17-18 players so that everyone is actively involved?

It would work for Bologna when you are playing once a week. But when Juve are in this many competitions, we desperately need squad depth.
At Bologna, he played mostly with 17-18 players. I don't know about their injury situation, but general feeling is that they don't have much trouble. Bologna played ~40 matches last season.

At Juve, he said he wants a squad consisting of 23-24 players. Don't know it'll be enough or not. We will play ~50-70 matches, 2-3 matches a week.

We have had this problem since long time ago, except CR7 and GKs almost every player facing the same physical problem once they wear juve shirt. four coaches with different approaches and tactical point of views have not fixed it. If im not mistaken we even changed the whole staff in both of medical and technical departments a few years ago.

2 injuries to 2 first team players… now we have about 14 players in our squad. How has this Mercato been sooo poorly planned and executed?
Luckily the mercatto is still open and we still got a bit over a week to rectify a few things, but certainly not a good spot to find ourselves in with the season already underway.

Even if we manage to get Nico, Koop, Kalulu and other winger we will have a 25 man squad…

We have to play 5 tournaments and knowing our injury record… we don’t have enough players

25 players aint enough? We cant have 2 full buses of subs because we might have injuries. It's cheaper to fix medical facilities, hire better stuff, etc.

Light injuries which are common when the season starts since players trained hard in preseason. We are fine, gentlemen.

Last yseason we played 2 tournaments and have a 28 player squad, this year we are playing 5 tournaments and will have 25 players... I agree that its cheaper to fix our medical facilities and hire better staff, but they arent doing it, they hire new staff and the injuries keep comming...

Im not saying we should have 2 full buses, but if you are going with a 25 player squad, then something has to be done about the injuries

We are at the beginning so its hard to judge at this point if the new stuff will perform better, if our training regime will reduce the number of injuries. Lets see in a few months where we are.

I don't know why it only happens for Juve players, We have terrible injury record even if the majority are not serious, yet they're still constant from the metrics it seems.

It seems that way because we hear the regular news at our club, but it happens to other clubs as well. Still, we've had a high number of overall injuries over the past few seasons for sure.

New season, major changes behind the scenes, yet same repetitive injuries issues coming out from this early on…

The same pattern keeps reemerging.

Can’t even blame it on our current crop of injury prone cripples because aside from Weah and maybe Danilo most of the other ones being affected are new additions made this summer.

4 muscle injuries already :scared:. 2 during training, 2 during match.
That without other fatigued or having taken a knock cases such as Danilo’s.

What is with these injury?
I think continassa area is cursed, including the stadium
Don’t think it’s a curse, just a multitude of factors starting from purchasing players with an extensive injury history as well as working players too hard, way too many intense training methods, or in some cases even the players themselves not always following the club’s rules and recommendations therefore not looking out for themselves as well as they should.
