Matuidi returns to Juventus training | Football Italia
Blaise Matuidi and Joao Cancelo both trained with Juventus this afternoon, ahead of tomorrow’s Manchester United game.
The Bianconeri were facing a midfield injury crisis, as Sami Khedira is just coming back from muscular problems and Emre Can is out.
Blaise Matuidi missed Sunday and Monday’s sessions with a bruised hip, leaving Rodrigo Bentancur and Miralem Pjanic as the only fit central midfielders.
However, Matuidi returned to training at Continassa today, so should be available for selection tomorrow night.
Joao Cancelo followed an individual regime yesterday, but he was also back with the group today.
Mario Mandzukic and Giorgio Chiellini returned to training yesterday, so only Federico Bernardeschi, Moise Kean and Douglas Costa are out.

Bernardeschi out of Italy squad | Football Italia

Juventus forward Federico Bernardeschi has pulled out of the Italy squad with an adductor problem.

Bianconeri Coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted he had been playing with a muscular injury since the last international break, and he hasn’t featured in any of the last three games for his club.

The forward was called-up by Italy CT Roberto Mancini, but it was today been confirmed that he will return to Turin.

“Federico Bernardeschi has left the training camp at Coverciano,” the FIGC confirmed in a statement.

“The Juventus player will miss the challenges with Portugal and the United States because of an adductor injury and in the next few hours he will return to his club to undergo the necessary treatment.”

Juve sweat over Pjanic injury | Football Italia
Juventus are sweating over the fitness of Miralem Pjanic after the midfielder left Bosnia-Herzegovina’s training camp with a muscle injury.
The Bosnian FA confirmed on its official website that Pjanic picked up an injury towards the end his country’s goalless draw with Austria on Thursday.
Since then, Calciomercato.com and Sky Sport Italia have added that the 28-year-old is on his way back to Turin, where he will be assessed for Juve’s next game against SPAL.
The Bianconeri are already light in midfield as Emre Can is out for the foreseeable future with a thyroid problem.

Khedira sprained left ankle. Doubt for SPAL.
We only have 2 mids now assuming Pjanic won't be fit.

Emre Can resumes training | Football Italia
Emre Can has resumed training with Juventus after surgery to remove a nodule on his thyroid on October 29.
On October 21, it was announced he required “clinical tests and investigations for a thyroid nodule that could also require surgical treatment.”
He then had an operation to remove the nodule performed in Frankfurt on October 29.
Details were kept to a minimum due to privacy laws, but the German international returned to training today.
He is doing fitness work, but also “monitored by professor Angelini and J-Medical.”
