When the season started. Last season he played in a couple of pre-season games but when the official games started he was sidelined until the last match.

one question.... sissoko has been out since long time ago.... but he is a case of different injuries or the injury which kept him off so long is still the one that is keeping him from playing?

His main injury was a broken fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot. that kept him out of playing till the end of the season but some time after the operation a periostitis occured there and this is the condition he was suffering from during the preseason.
