Angela, I checked other Serie B teams and they don´t have half of injuries like we have.
I'm sure you're right Mark, but we are Juventus & the only way to beat us is either to fix the match, like inter does or to slyly put the boot in. The latter option is more likely in serie B, as most teams have less skill than us, so they close us down quickly & take the player as well as the ball when they tackle!

Everybody had their share of injuries... :D
:agree: Although I have to admit that I think our defenders have had more than their fair share. I expected most of our injuries would have been on our frontline (strikers & the others who support them in the Juve attacks on the opposition's goal). However most of our serious/long term injuries have been to defenders: - Tudor, Legro, Zebina & Chiellini for example.

    Ok here are the latests:

Buffon: Mostly won't have the chance to play against Cesena...
Birindelli: His case will be evaluated tomorrow...
Palladino: Can play for 90 minutes...
Zanetti: May make it at time...
Giannichedda & Marchionni: There is a good possibility that they will be ready for Cesena...

This means he will not have played a game for over two months. I hope all goes well for him with his op & he is back A.S.A.P. As it is he hasn't played since before Christmas & will not play before mid March the earliest.

    Kovac undergoes surgery

Late this morning, Robert Kovac underwent surgery on his right ankle at the Borgenhausen hospital, Munich. The operation, carried out by doctors Seebauer and Schiller, removed two large calcifications – which were causing an inflammation in the area - from the anterior part of the right ankle joint.
The prognosis for the player’s return in around eight weeks.
