His name was Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, he was born in Qadiyan, India in 1835 and passed away in 1908.

Here's a over-all reading about him and the Ahmadiyya sect:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirza_Ghulam_Ahmad

It looks accurate, except I'm not sure about the last sentence.

If you're further interested, just PM me or drop a message in here ;)

"Religion: Ahmadi"

I can never do hajj with that passport  Insh'Allah they'll realize how stupid it is to officially question ones religion :disagree:
Ok, Ze, but if the Waited Mahdi has come and died before 100 years, don't you think that the end of the world is so close??

It is close. According to the Qur'an, the Mahdi would come in the last days. There are signs mentioned, like the eclipse, earthquakes, major wars, signs related to societies, etc. And all these are not just any earhquakes, or any war, but major wars, major earthquakes; increasing in number etc. We've all witnessed this in the last century and still are today. All those are the signs supporting the advent of the Mahdi and the Last Days.

Yea, the signs are in the Qur'an and Hadith. I'm not sure what you mean  And absolutely not, Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the most important prophet. The Promised Messiah is the same person who everyone's still waiting for, just we claim that he's already here. He hasn't brought a new law, so nothing's changed in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (saw).

The Ismailis are a very close group to the Shi'a sect...

The main difference between them is that Ismailis say that Ismail was the worthy imam, not Musa Al-Kadhim...

But they're not hindus, according to my knowledge...

Altair, are you Sufi??

Qadiyani just means someone from Qadiyan, India. But today it's used as an insult.

No prob. It's a common mistake since every mullah likes to tell people that.

There are several historical sources that support the fact that he journeyed to Kashmir. Not to mention its also supported in the Bible and the Qur'an. So many times people have come to take DNA tests, but they are not allowed because that would destroy the whole Son of God theory and therefore the entire bases of modern Christianity.

I got more reading for you :D

CoS

The beliefs, practices and rituals of the Church of Satan have few, if any, points of similarity with the Christian or Muslim concept of Satan. The CoS' Satan is pre-Christian, and derived from the Pagan image of power, virility, sexuality and sensuality. Satan is viewed as a force of nature, not a living quasi-deity. Their Satan has nothing to do with hell , demons, pitchforks, sadistic torture, demonic possession, and profound evil. There are references in LaVey' writings to having conducted a few Black Masses for publicity purposes, in which the Roman Catholic Mass was ridiculed. But, it is unknown whether these references were satirical or reflected actual rituals. Assuming that the black masses were fictional, all of their rituals have no connection to those of Christianity or of any other religion.
