could you people tell me which parts/sections of the forum allows IMG code? cause i keep seeing custom images in other parts of forums

Well, u just use the two brackets u mentioned and put the url between them.

There has been talk about making it available for the entire board but I don't know if Martin has come around to doing that yet.

They were all activated on request if I remember correctly.

You can see the status of IMG code for the given forum at the bottom of each page..

And the reason we haven't enabled it sitewise is that when people post large images, it messes up the page design. It also loads the pages slower for those who are on slower connections. But we've decided to turn it on all the same, to depend less on attachments.

but if u turn on the img mode, then the server doesnt have to download and keep each attachments, so members can put images without taking up server space
