you are right that it would be better hide such gestures, but on the other hand he is also just a human being and we tend to let our feelings decide what to do.
i don't think that diego is happy that we lost just to make ferrara look shit. deep inside him he will be probably be angry with ferrara and would like to go to the coach and tell him his opinion, but as player you are not in the position to do so if you want to keep playing football
the smile is probably really a way of overplaying the angryness he feels about the ones he thinks are responsible for this weak performance.
you know even alex sometimes has an emotional outburst (just remember the throwing of the jacket he got handed, after being substituted)

You gloat in other peoples misfortune, you used to support Juventus but now cast them aside like there a leftover dinner and claim to be this big Barcelona fan. Hiddink is available, like Zapata was available the last years . . . it's perhaps in our minds that in football manager we would spend 12m and get zapata, but what happened ? nothing. it is not that easy and in football manager surely there is no abramowich who does intervene where Hiddink may be coach next.
no frontin, but we came to the general consensus here that Hiddink would be great, but is not available (due to having still a contract). It's not like i would say "no" to hiddink and i really listened closely to Hiddink when he was asked about certain situations of the match in the halftime break in the dutch television (hoping he might give a hint for him coming to us ) but i do not see this coming.
