Baggio next
Del Piero notched his 26th international goal to become Italy's fifth-highest scorer of all time, moving ahead of Alessando Altobelli and Adolfo Baloncieri. The Juventus captain is now one behind Roberto Baggio and nine short of record holder Luigi Riva. "I want to take one step at a time," he said. "My next goal is to draw level with Baggio."
9 more goals with Juve and he arrives to 200 goals with the bianconneri!!
9 more goals with Italy and he becomes the highest scorer of all time in the azurri!!
Did not score tonight, but did perform some very nice skills. Over all performance was good in my opinion.
1st 30 min was off, but came into life afterwards pretty good. Served Nedved almost 3 times with good chances.
I hope we get those skills on video to download.
He makes another clip... a brand new hit
I don't know how it makes me feel watching his clips, some times it sounds funny but in most cases it feels more like disgusting
During the 1st 30 min of the match he was off. Not concetrating on his dribbling. Then suddently on the 30th minute everything changed.
Few times there were like 3 deffenders or more around him then he suddenly change direction and all of them get lost. He did very well. Ran alot. Pressed alot, and sure as hell entertained me on such a tight match.
There is another one where he received the ball with his back/shoulder then dribbled from one and got tackled by the other. If you want to check it, you can go to the HL of the match in the multimedia board. I think its the first thing after the half time.
