Me too, but the most important thing for me (maybe some Juventini here will disagree) is a success for him in the WC. For me, that means everything. He has to do it. It's just not fair that Ronaldo had his glory at 2002, while Del Piero spent too much time on the bench and Italy was kicked out so early. He's a better player than Ronaldo ever was. Del Piero deserves this WC like no player ever did. I would kill to see him lifting that cup or atleast scoring some fantastic goals in Germany.

..

Even if Juve wins the CL, there's like 70% chance that Alex would not finish the game as captain, which will lead to Thuram lifting the Cup first. He might not even play single minute of the game. That would look so bad if Juve won and he didnt play the final.

jaja if he manages to keep his current form... believe me that in one way or another he will finish the game xD

and even if he doesnt, im very sure the guys will let him raise the cup.

I wish for him CL and WC glory... i have the feeling that this year he can achieve something good in the WC

it is not important who is the captain in the game, it is important who is the nr. 1 captain.. so don´t worry.. but if you guaratie me that we are gonna win the CL, I would even call Chiementi back to lift the cup ;)

I can't imagne another scenario for the Champions except Dp lifting the Cup coz I can't imagine seeing Juve out of the competition.I could hurt somebody this day.Any way for the WC Cannavaro could lift it though it is too hard for Italy to win it but maybe they can do it & if it is not italy I hope it is France.

NO, mate... the rule is that any trophy won by the club is lifted by OFFICIAL captain (aka DP). For example I remember in 2004, when Arsenal won Premier League, the cup was lifted by Vieira, who had an injury, haven't played a single match for about a month... but he was the one to receive the cup ;)

or... in 2003, when Porto won UEFA Cup, their Captain (Jorge Costa) was substituted in second half, but again he was the one to lift the cup...

Trust me, even if DP doesn't play a single minute in CL from now on, he'll be the one to lift the trophy (unless of course he's not in hospital or smth :D)

Forza Juventus !!!
Forza Del Piero !!!

PS oh yeah and in 99 CL Final, Roy Keane didn't play the final, because of suspension, but again he was the one to lift the cup ;)

DP is in such a rich vein of scoring form he has to go to the world cup! If he doesn't & Vieri goes, then i know for sure that Vieri is suckin some Lippi cock:agree:

DP defintely deserves to go to the world cup!
