Its looks like the same story repeats again....

Each time Del Piero plays, its kind a new exam for him. If he fails to deliver the goods, then he is out of shape or too old to be in Juve. If he playwell and scores, then we will probably give him another chance in the future...

Fortunately for us, he keeps showing the same humbleness and class that has been the trademark of his whole football career and his life....

Thats correct, I cant remember a player that has to probe himself to others so many times like Del Piero

Thtas why he has my complete respect and thats why he is my fav. player

I love Dp but IMO a player who must prove himself every week in his teamates and in the fans must not be the captain.

Del Piero is the captain not because he's the best but because it's in the team's spirit, he's Juve's mascot as much as Maldini's is Milan no matter how old he is and as much as Raul is Real's no matter how badly he might play. Del Piero will be Juve's leader and remains of the CL Champions team until he retires (or leaves but he better not).

he must not prove himself for the teammates, but his display is allways judged with other scales from media and some fans.
