E' un periodo particolare per Alex Del Piero. Sposatosi in gran segreto lo scorso 14 giugno con l'adorata, ed eterna fidanzata, Sonia, il capitano della Juventus sta vivendo una fase delicata della sua carriera da calciatore che fa da contraltare ad un momento felice come marito e, forse, futuro papà.
La cosa che ha rammaricato Del Piero è il fatto di essere stato escluso, dopo parecchi anni, dalla lista dei 50 migliori calciatori d'Europa. "Sono sconcertato di non essere stato incluso tra i top 50 ma non è un problema dato che un anno, il Pallone d'Oro, lo hanno dato anche a Mathias Sammer (calciatore della Germania dell'Est d'inizio anni '90 che giocò anche per l'Inter senza gran successo), con tutto il rispetto per lui. Ho altri obiettivi".
