Yes, we played Barcelona like football under Lippi. Please, Juve was rarely entertaining, it's not like Cap made them boring.
We were rarely entertaining, but we were stylish. Just look at the number of fouls we needed this season. Capello likes dirty football, it's as simple as that. Or how about comparing our two victories against Real? Wich one did you like best? The one with Lippi or the one with Capello?

Zlatan where are you going Do you forget the 3-1 win against real madrid. Many people believe that was the best champions league game in the last 10 years. We were very entertaining when lippi was here. Do you forget that we had a full crowd almost every game under lippi. I just think that with capello this juventus is not very appealing to the fans.

Under Lippi, we played very entertaining football in 97 and 98. We were hailed as the best team in the world. During Lippi's second spell, we were less entertaining, but we were still MUCH better than now. Del Piero and Camoranesi
are the only real creative players we have.

Oh please you're just making up arguments now. Do you have credible stats to prove your argument? IIRC, Davids, Montero and Tacchinardi were hardly "cleaner" players than Canna, Blasi and Emerson.

That was one game. We played very well against Real this season, we had an entertaining match against Lecce. One match does not make a season.

AS for the attendances, you, my friend, have to check your facts.

97 and 98 when we had Zizou, Di Livio, Deschamps... can hardly be compared to the current team. And TBH, we're screwed if DP is our most creative player. Zlatan is also very creative, as is Mutu, and somewhat Oli and Kapo. Besides, it's not Cap that buys the players.

Come on, Del Piero was the main reason why our team performed so well in attack in 97 and 98. He scored the most beautiful goals all by himself. Of course Zidane had a very significant impact, but the only player to be remembered is Del Piero. period.

True, and Del Piero was one of the worlds best players then. However, it's 2005 now, not 97.
Yes. Please Zlatan, let's be honest: Don't you think Del Piero's creativity was highly decisive in 2005? Don't you believe it is quite probable that he will do his best in 2005/06 in order to make it to the WC?

I think Capello is a stubborn sergeant. But as he said, so far, results proved him right. But Lippi never said "results proved him right". Capello lacks what Lippi always had, and what made us love Juventus: Style, Class and Intelligence.

No. Del Piero's goals might have been important this season, but hardly his creativity. He has shown very little of it this season, and has in general, except the Milan match, been very rarely involved in the team play and buildup, and hasn't been all that creative, nor had many assists. Zlatan has been far more creative this season.

Our attendances were higher under Lippi?! No they weren't.

DP the only player to be remembered from 97 / 98?!:( Er, Ferrara, Davids, Conte, Deschamps, Zizou, hell...even Pippo.

To ask which performance did you prefer against Madrid is pointless, Madrid is a different team to that of 2 years ago...I'm not saying it is better or worse but it cannot be compared.

And to say DP had a fantastic season?!:eek: Open your eyes people. This was DP's poorest season - performance wise - ever..by a long way.

And Seven, to say we only won lo scudetto because of a brilliant move by DP - I think you are making a tongue in cheek remark there, because if you actually meant it, it's the most stupid thing I have ever heard. I'll take it as the joke I'm sure (I hope!) you meant it to be.:D

Do you sometimes read articles regarding Juvents, Zlatan? We were a MUCH cleaner team two years ago. Please.

Actually, it IS Cap who buys the players. He even made that one of the conditions to come to Juventus.

 Of course I didn't mean that that move was the only reason. It was just the finishing touch. But the finishing touch we needed badly.

Champions League, fouls commited:

Ajax: 110
Juventus: 114
Bayern Munchen: 93
Maccabi Tel Aviv: 94

Now isn't that weird when you win nearly all your games?

sometimes zlatan was playing worst then del piero and
he sub del piero with zalyeta or trezeguet that's show he is not fair to alex

he always play with blasi and left appiah and tach on the bench
[ i think the leatest match's show that appiah is much better then blasi ]

i can count the matches that juventus was playnig very well on one hand

after all this people says del piero the one who must leave and he is a better coach then lippi

We shouldnt have to play rough with the players we have. And how come with Cassano Capello barely ever benched him he just turned away, but when del piero says something capello cant guarantee anything. THis is bullshit. Watch if we bring Cassano he will run his mouth and play every game. This arguement is ridiculous

The question you have to ask yourself is this one: do I like to see Juventus play or not?

I don't like to see Juventus playing. I think we're horrible to watch. If it weren't Juve playing I would put on my shoes and play some football myself outside.

Still, doesnt prove there are more than during Lippi's reign.

And yes, it might be a lot, we play rough, so what?
I have a strange feeling that you like ibrahim much more then Del Piero because he is ZLATAN ibrahimovIC , (pay attention to marked letters)
and that you think the dimensions of the player are the greatest virtue...well it's not, it is really not so marrow ,only for the headers, and Del Piero made even more headers than ibrahim, this season.
Ibrahim didn't score a goal in the C.L. games...why?He wasted a lot of chances anyway,he is not so good as everyone here think he is.
Yes,Del Piero played much better 97. and 98. but he is still great potential, and he can do a lot of good things for us.
He can decide the whole game with one brilliant move, just like he did against milan, and many times before.
