well he has done 2 games well, but he should do it over more games, but it is a start, i think he is lacking a goal, that would really boost his confidence!

but somehow i have the feeling he could become the hero of the real clashes!

forza capitano!

You don't think he had a good season Bes?He scored 16 in 24 in Serie A,plus an additional 4 in the CL.Assists wise he was great too, helping Trezeguet hit 24 in Serie A and 32 in all competitions.

I'm sure you won't mind me letting you know that Ale scored five in the CL that season

Big game for dp to show his capabilities , i hope he can handle the pressure and play as a playmaker
Yeah. The time he spent on the bench has made him hungry and he did well against Udinese and Messina, but we need him most now. A good performance against Real would be the perfect way to give more to a club that he has helped so much already and prove to Capello that he deserves to be in the first team.

It's here: the official "let us try anything to convince other forum members that Del Piero is crap"-thread. So I invite Andy, Burke, Zlatan and a lot of other forum members to post all their crap about Del Piero in this thread, instead of polluting every other thread with Del Piero's name.

Sorry, its just that I think this thread its only going to increase the bashing to Del Piero and the bashing between the users of the forum...

I mean soon you will see the same thread about Zlatan and then about Trez, etc

But I hope I'm prove wrong

Let me start off by saying that I admire Del Piero a great deal, both as a player and as a human being. That can't be said of many football players I'm afraid. Though I can't deny that Del Piero isn't the player he once was. He's even far away from his 2002-2003 form.

On the other hand I think Del Piero still has something to give to this team. Not as a striker, but as a playmaker. He should sacrifice his own opinion and attain this role for the good of the team as well as for himself.

I want to have a thread like this about Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Why would you? Zlatan is hardly questioned on this forum. Sure, we question his headers and his decision making, but we all realise the future is bright for Zlatan.
