Some magical touches, but one of his worst days ever. It happens. In a good day he would end this match with a hattrick. Too bad Sydney didn't win it, but in such a weird day, 1 point is Ok.

I gotta feeling about the Derby. Ale will bounce back from his bad performance exactly on my birthday (Hebrew calendar) :D

Btw, talking about penalty kicks, corners and set pieces, it's a very weak season for Ale. He missed 2 penalties (today and vs. WSW, then he scored the rebound) and scored one with luck after the ball hit the post (Glory, first round). Very untypical.

He had many comfortable chances to score from Fk but he scored only once, vs. Jets. And he had some nice corners (including the one that lead to the goal today) but it's not even close to his dangerous corners from last year and before.

On the other hand, he does so many great things... :)

Sydney now in the top 6. Two points clear of Perth in 7th. That's all I care about. If Ale didn't even get to play finals that would be hugely disappointing.
