Thinking Conte would be mad. And having all those conspiracy theories. You are like the one from history channel about alliens and lizard tunnels and all that stuff here.
I am 100% sure Conte wanted Alex out. If he had wanted him on the squad, Del Piero would still be here. At the same, you have to ask yourself if it's really that bad. I'm an enormous fan of Del Piero and I will never say a bad word about him. He has done absolutely brilliantly. But Conte felt that he could get better results with different players and he has done just that. So yes, I think Conte wanted Alex out. I was disappointed with that. But Conte won, so there's nothing left to say.

I agree with that, Conte wanted what he thought would be the best for the teams results on the pitch, and in part he wanted to move on from relying on a very old player and to start the a new winning cycle. I think it was all in his master plan. But to suggest that he hates or dislikes and is even happy with such things is ridiculous. And the same with Agnelli, to paint the picture how everyone hates Ale and have their personal agendas against them is crazy imo.

For the first time this summer, nothing about Ale for 2-3 days. NOTHING. Not even a single rumor. NOTHING. And believe me, I spent a lot of time in Google. And this is exactly why I think we're very close to an announcement about his new destination.

Beppe Di Stefano, Sky Italia's transfer expert:"Del Piero choose Europe. He considers offers ONLY from European clubs. Arsenal may be his next destination".

CalcioMercatoNews:"Del Piero wants Europe, prefers the EPL".

How fresh is that, bro?

and I really hope he goes to a "big" club, though it would be a dream if he came here to the U.S.

but he deserves a great club and sadly none here is great enough for him, yet.
