I am 100% sure Conte wanted Alex out. If he had wanted him on the squad, Del Piero would still be here. At the same, you have to ask yourself if it's really that bad. I'm an enormous fan of Del Piero and I will never say a bad word about him. He has done absolutely brilliantly. But Conte felt that he could get better results with different players and he has done just that. So yes, I think Conte wanted Alex out. I was disappointed with that. I agree with that, Conte wanted what he thought would be the best for the teams results on the pitch, and in part he wanted to move on from relying on a very old player and to start the a new winning cycle. I think it was all in his master plan. But to suggest that he hates or dislikes and is even happy with such things is ridiculous. And the same with Agnelli, to paint the picture how everyone hates Ale and have their personal agendas against them is crazy imo.
