Right from this article: President Agnelli owes Juve fans explanation for this decision.

Did he gave a reasonable explanation? If i would live in Torino, i would insist along with the Curva Sud to have a meeting with Agnelli, in which he must stand for his decision. I give him credit for rebuilding this team and having faith in Conte, but when it comes to Del Piero, he must not cross the line.
By keeping Borriello (nothing personal with the guy) and letting Del Piero go, it would be the biggest mistake.
He didn't give any explanation. There is no reason to treat him this way, as I wrote in the article, everything looks good, impossible to find a reason, unless something personal happened between them, in which I don't believe anything like that happened.

As for the Borriello part, ABSOLUTELY my thought! Borriello is useless, let's say less useful than him, will earn more and will cost extra 8 million for signing. Absolute bullshit!

Good stuff Snoop.

As to your last part I personally don't think any explanation will be given which makes this whole thing looks like it's personal. And you are not mistaken he indeed earns 1m euros per season less than many average players in this squad and bench ones too.
Thanx!

I can't even find a reason for anything personal. I mean Del Piero always had a great relation with Agnellis, even if he didn't have a good one with Andrea, I doubt he would do something bad to let Andrea give a decision like this.

No disciplinary problems, no bad attitude, zero problems with fans/board/staff/players, doesn't cost much. What the fuck is the problem then? This is unfair!

Look if he had problems with being benched, and complained all the time about it, I wouldn't write all these, this is just unfair! This will give a bad image to the club, you can't disrespect your loyal servants like that..

Presidents always want to look more powerful than the club's icon or legend IMO.

Del Piero holds everything here, he's an icon, symbol and legend of the legends, he was humiliated when he was offered 1m [even though his image and kits sell more than any other player in Serie A followed by Ibra and Totti] yet he didn't complain and even said that he would sign on a blank sheet. That was Agnelli's first move to show him the door.

The 2nd one is Marotta saying that Buffon can stay as long as he wants but it's not the time to talk about Del Piero's renewal, that was another humiliation. All these things adds up to me and makes me think that the man on the chair with power doesn't want the greatest servant and general of this team because he's everything in this club and he's the center of attention.

On the other hand you have a Conte who doesn't seem to look like he wants to rely on Ale for unknown reasons too.

I could be wrong but no one can blame me because Agnelli hasn't given us a reason or justification for his actions which makes me speculate and see things the way I want to.

I think Agnelli is pulling this dick move because he wants to ~start anew~ and Ale is such a force of history and tradition in the dressing room that he in some ways can't be considered to be a vital part of this new period at Juve.

I don't agree with Mr. Unibrow though. Know that before youse bite my head of. I just think that that is the main reason. Sacrificing a glorious past for a (perhaps) glorious future.
This is what I have been thinking.

I don't think this is right because Conte will still be bigger than Agnelli in the public's eye despite the grinch making decisions.

Alex want's to play football , he said that on numerous occasions , he loves the game and probably feels that he has a few more years of good football ahead of him and does not want to spend them on the bench , even if it is Juve's bench. I'd rather think that that's the case here then that he is being forced out of the club , which if it is true is such a shameful and disrespectful thing to do to a man who is more then just a legend , a true symbol of this club.

Time will tell , or maybe not , if he indeed is forced out , i don't think we will ever hear anything bad about the management or president of the club from Capitano's mouth , being the gentlemen he is .

I don't think it has anything to do with Conte. Yes Conte believes in other players, it's a tactical choice, we can't question about it because he won us the scudetto and on his way to win the cup. Other than that, I always saw Conte respecting Alex, celebrating his goal with passion, I saw him jump on him hugging him many times for celebration :D

I believe your other scenario is closer to the reality. Must be Andrea's ego. Del Piero is a modest guy, unlike Totti or others, he is not an attention whore, he doesn't talk bullshit like Zlatan did (Zlatan started to question about Milan's project now), so I don't understand how is that scaring Andrea..

You know me how I liked Zlatan's talent, and I still believe he is the better player even if we disagree (talent wise), thou Zlatan is not 1% of man what Ale is. That's why I didn't give a shit when Zlatan left, but I care when Ale does.

If the club won't unveil the truth about Ale's departure, then I think the capitano must go out and inform his fans of why he is being pushed out/ leaving... being it bad things about the management or being it the choice of himself to play football more...
We deserve to know the truth.

I'm convinced we will see Del Piero on the field at some point next season. When Van Persie or some other new player with glass legs gets injured mid through the season, we will have to bring someone. Of course we won't have money in January so we'll loan back Del Piero from LA Galaxy or some other American club.

The only rational reason i can think, is that they definitely want to finally pass the del piero chapter and do not depend on him anymore, by making space for new and younger strikers. Maybe this not necessarily mean that they have any personal ill will toward him or whatever, but definitely are trying to let him know that they must replace him sooner or later.

In the end of things, i think they dont want to rely on an old 38 years old, as good as he can still be. They want to adventure in finding not necessarily a sucessor (because imo to search for one specifically is just dumb taking in consideration DP´s legacy and all that has to do with him), but to use his spot for another potentially young modern star forward. I think that even the fact that they WILL have to subscribe him for the next CL and use a forward spot is an issue for them (lets get real, Conte doesnt even use him when he really can, now... how many time he will use DP in those super tense european clashes? i find hard to see him performing before the minute 80 sadly.)

In the end, i dont think is anything personal, but they forcefully just want to turn the Del Piero page. Of course, im aware that del piero wanted to go on, and this is not ending in del piero´s term, but in one way i think he is getting the idea. After all, he is definitely not in Conte´s plans, as he is being used like some kind of "memento" or "token" that comes in and does his magic, like in the old glory days. Sometimes i feel that he is almost used for a "nostalgia" thing instead of true footballing technical reasons.

We all saw him play this season and how good he still is. He definitely rates himself still high and competitive ( for a reason) but i think he also understands from were they are coming. Because of this i think he is not creating a soap opera out of this and just taking it like the champ he is.

Personally, i just want to see him retire in this club, as i dont care how many good players can come....
A del piero, a platini, a boniperti....those kind of players come once every 30 year.....and in the case of del piero, a champion not only on the field, but a true captain, a gentleman and the most charismatic footbller i have ever seen...... i dont really see another one like him coming in at least 100 years
