It's kind of scary how extraordinary this man is.

Hardly had to do with his mind. Same could be said about the game against Lazio, yet he saved Juve. If Juve are now favorites to win the title it's because of that freekick.

The game was finished before Ale came in last night. No team had any intention of playing the game. Not much he could have done. Things would have been different if his magic had been needed, like against Lazio or Inter ;)
Yup. There was nothing to play for when he came in to replace Quag. If Del Piero had a poor match (poor 30 minutes) then every single soul in Juve had a poor match in those 30 minutes. And it had nothing to do with DP's mind, as you said. It was the result and only the result which resulted with such a performance from him and the other 10 Juve players in the last third of the match.

just a walk in the park for Ale and the whole team when he came on so who really cares? We know he could kill it if he wanted to. Or maybe Ale was feeling kind after seeing Totti's face throughout the whole game.

I was thinking..

Do you guys know what would be awesome?

If Del Piero got to sign a new contract after the match against Atalanta, in the stadium while celebrating the 30th Scudetto :touched:

Can't agree anymore...

Seriously? So now we say it's acceptable to perform poorly when you look down and sad on the bench?

I think as Hoori said, it has to do with the game being over then his mood. But still he was bellow par.
:sergio:

Before you start laughing, can you tell me where I said it's acceptable to under-perform when you are sad?!
and for your info, as Hoori and Alen said, when he came on no one was interested in playing, so you can't say he had a below par pefromance.

With this I agree, that the game was over, but still i think he had a bellow par performence, not a boriello one where it's non performence, but bellow par, he lost balls and wasn't dangerous.

But it doesn't really matter in such game, the important thing is that so fart he has brought the game when it was needed.

It's like you can't judge his performence if it's not yelling froza DP.

Not true, I commented on Borrielo too, and he was absolutely non involved in the play at all, Ale at least tried to get involved and did, but as i said he lost too many balls and wasn't dangerous. So it's not like I came here to single out Alex.

Only sub I didn't comment was Giach, because there is nothing to comment on that, he was as always willing but with no end product.

If we win the Scudetto, it's gonna be Ale's 8 Scudetto (including the revoked titles), the most for individual player in history of Italy. Only 3 players won 8 Scudetti, all played for Juve: Virginio Rosetta (1923-1936), Giovanni Ferrari (1930-35, 1941-42), and Giuseppe Furino (1969-1984).

You know what's funny?
Some days ago I looked at the official "won scudetti" list and Del Piero has 5, as many as Zanetti :howler: Ale has two scudetti revoked and Zanetti is given the paper scudetto.

Even Inter and Zanetti should be ashamed of that and admit that it's hilarious to even compare the captains' serie A success.

P.S: Even more hilarious - Stankovic officially has more scudetti than Del Piero. FIGC look like fools with their official records.
