if Ale gets to win the Scudetto and Coppa, then he may move on.

I have made my peace with it, now just pray that it will be in moments of triumph rather than heartbreak and disappointment.

I have to admit if would be a great way to end his career winning some titles and scoring against all of the biggest clubs in Italy but i need to see one more champions league goal even just to see him lead the team out into the Juventus Arena awith that chmpions league music playing would put shivers down my spine.

Maybe the management are planning to give him a perfect good bye if we win the Scudetto?

Imagine if the plan is to renew him if we don't win the Scudetto, and let him go if we win it.

win-win :scared:

Fuck this, he deserves in a public statement/ceremony to be given a blank contract by this club. He has shown more class than the lot of them managers, more than enough to have a say when he goes and how. He has proven he isn't here for the money beyond any dispute and more shown every critique wrong - keeps producing the good stuff.

It's not ever really about his beyond legendary status in this club, its just a simple fact based on what he has shown ON THE FIELD THIS YEAR ALONE.

Either they are planning on a media handled turn around, using the pressure as some kind of a motivational factor and will give him a new contract or our management is handled by complete boneheads and they don't deserve a player like him.

The contradiction :lol::lol:

Juventus are willing to offer a new contract to boss Antonio Conte, but there are no signs of an Alessandro Del Piero re-think.

“A renewal for Conte is almost automatic,” director general Beppe Marotta stated when asked about the tactician.

“He has a relationship of respect and friendship with the club and President Andrea Agnelli. He is the guarantor of our project. I think an agreement will be reached quickly.”

Conte, a former club captain, moved to Turin in the summer from Siena where he put pen to paper on a two-year agreement.

He arrived at the club as a 4-2-4 man, but his evolving 4-3-3 and 3-5-2 tactics have led the unbeaten Old Lady to the top of the table, as well as the Coppa Italia Final.

While Conte will stay, Marotta refused to open the door for a Del Piero renewal once his contract expires in the summer.

“Del Piero is an example,” the official noted. “There are no words to describe what he can deliver in terms of emotions and performances.

“Champions like Del Piero are rare and it is impossible to immediately find a footballer like him. It takes time to become a champion.

“A new deal? We are not focused on the dynamics of the future, we are concentrating on the present. Right now we want to turn our dreams into reality.”

The club announced last October that Del Piero, now 37, would leave his beloved Old Lady once his deal ends in June.

There will never be a perfect good-bye...let alone a simple good-bye when it comes to this man. He's a legend, an icon, the captain, he is the perfect footballer. How can you say good-bye to a man that symbolizes so many things?

If he were to leave this season...I want him to win the Coppa and Scudetto, then the Euro in the summer. Afterwards I want him to play for Edmonton FC so I can watch him live everyday training or match....

Right, so what are people expecting Marotta to say? And don't say 'nothing', because he is being asked about Del Piero's contract on a virtual daily basis.

a) No comment
b) We're concentrating on the present
c) He's signing a new contract

Hence how he said concerning Conte "He is the guarantor of our project. I think an agreement will be reached quickly."

As for Del Piero, "“A new deal? We are not focused on the dynamics of the future"

Yes, we do not know anything about this, the management want him to DEFINITELY STAY :lol:

It's not about what he has to say, it's about people like you who make it out to be as if this management are keen on keeping him which is not true at all because they just want to sound objective to themselves and public readers.

If they are keen on keeping Ale for another year they would have said it in public. At least they would somehow convince some people that they've done everything they can to keep him. They could have said we want to keep Ale, we want him to stay for another year, hell, even something like we HOPE. But none of this has been said.

Only naive people can't tell that the management do not intend to extend his contract.
