I think number 10 should just stay opened. If we can't bring a star this season then do that next year. But having number 10 should be special in this team and I think it will just give an extra boost for the next player who wears it. He will want to justify the name written on it and he'll know his high standards as it was Del Piero who had it before him. Juve's number 10 were always amazing and IMO we should just continue with it.

Here's a question (especially for Rab and Hoori). If you had to name a player who would wear the future 10, who would you say? I think it should be some young but big talent and somebody who'd wear it for years to come. I've seen people say Robben somewhere, but I think that's stupid.

We'll be leading 1:0 or 2:0 tonight after which Conte will put Del Piero on to lead the team to a safe finish. Del Piero will score or assist for 3:0.

Who wants to take a bet on this? Everything's acceptable except an avatar bet. The moment I changed the Mirko avatar to this, we won most of the matches and didn't concede a single goal in serie A (Genoa 0:0, Viola 5:0, Inter 2:0, Napoli 3:0 and Palermo 2:0). It's a powerful avatar.

Rab?
If you win you get to ban Raz for a week. If I win you'll have a "Maldini sucks" signature for a week.

Del Piero Style?
If you win Rab gets to ban Raz for a week. If I win you put "Conte sarà sempre il vero capitano della juve :delpiero:" siggy for a week.

Hoori?
We can agree on the bets via PMs.
Haha good one :D

Though I have no problem participating, have loads of work, and the band would even do me good :p

Robben is def a big NO. Right now I would get Neymar probably. I think that will make him mature much faster and he has the technical skills required. Another plus is he won't be thinking about other clubs as much. JoJo could be one as well.

No one, yet.

My prediction however is that we'll sign Rossi and give him the 10 :yuck:

At this moment I'd say no one. You have to have something special for that not only talent.

P.s Alen, I have the same feeling. If given more than 15-20min he'll definitely score or assist.

That would be the worst thing ever. But I have a weird feeling how it might be Giovinco :shifty:

I wish Balotelli had the right mind in his head, because he surely has the talent. But like Rab said, it's not enough, especially in this case.

I agree. But I also think how that comes with the time spent here. Class is needed, but developing it further requires signature and jersey on your back IMO.

As for the names, I can honestly think of one name and it's Jovetic. Now, before I get hammered cause 'he's from Balkan', it's not that. I think he has the right personality and can carry the big jersey for many years. His style also reminds me of Del Piero and Totti combined. Other than him I can't think of anyone really. I can't see players like Higuain or Neymar wearing it, eventhough they'd bring that extra quality.

Yep.

I thought this had been covered pages back, that young players arriving at this club have every opportunity to beat the records Del Piero set here.
The thing is that there are a lot who don't want that to happen, they don't want anyone to surpass DP, that's why retiring the legendary #10 is ok to them.

They can have a jersey retired as well. I mean, that's how big that hypothetical and faar fetched achievement is.
