Finishing last season 7th wasn't supposed to happen, therefore saying that any progress we make this season be it 2nd 3rd place or even 4th place is a good achievement makes me wonder how easily one can drop his standards.

I expect Juve to win any competition they're taking part of. The we finished 7th place last season argument has expired and is one lame excuse.
i hate people who end up settling for less. We have a very good chance of winning the Scudetto for the first time since 2006, our coach fucks it up for us.. and people are like yo he's got us from 7th to 2nd.

why not be just a lil better and win the goddamn thing, when there's such good opportunity for us... why make things difficult? milan are shit... and we're unable to capitalize on no Europe factor...

fuck yea im gonna criticize Conte for not pushing all the way... i can settle for consolations come june... but now fight goddamn it, if i hear conte saying we're performing miracles one more time ill lose it.

One thing I hate more than loser mentality is choker mentality... we had like a million chances of getting ahead of peelan but failed them all... and the way we did it is just depressing. now everyone believes they have a chance vs us... because our retard players can't finish off a game if their life depended on it.

but dude, what hurts is that we have/had such a good opportunity... and we keep choking. Seeing your team choke hurts more than seeing them suck.

That's how I see it.

You should remember that the coach is the one that brought as to this place to be able to fuck up. He is inexpirienced, new and still does many mistakes. All I hope from him that he finishis this season strong and is ready and able for the next season, hopefully already learned at least half of his mistakes in the processs. That and some good signings would definatly make us a force next season, nut just a team blowing hot and cold.

i hope he wins Coppa at least... we've come too far, and choking now will just traumatize the entire squad... people don't realize how important this particular season is.

We are all grateful for him for turning this team around. But face the facts: we have a GREAT chance to win the scudetto and boost our morale and dignity ten folds if we do so. Considering our winning DNA that everyone speaks of, we HAVE to ask the question: Does Conte have what it takes to win it now?

Remember, guys: Alla Juventus vincere non è importante. E' l'unica cosa che conta.

people talk about building for future and shit... it will never be as easy as now... NEVER... 9 points from the next three games is a must.

Forza Juve! we can do it... just don't settle for 2nd pleez.

PS DP is one of few players in this current squad with true winning mentality in his DNA, others have never won shit and dont even know how... play him... give him a chance to help us..

I think not winning Coppa this season would be a failure, second pace would certainly not. Even if at one point our opponents let us think it might. Let's face it this season is not for us to win, but for milan to loose, we are just not that good yet.

Like Rab said, don't drop your standards. We are Juventus!
Seriously? You are the one who preaches logic in this place, fair assesment and all and you are saying this? What place did you predict at the start of the season and which one would you have been happy? 1st? I think not.

I don't particularly agree, I see our team getting stronger and stronger. Milan might well sign Tevez for example, but they always work with a short term plan which leaves spells where they don't really do anything.

Conte needs to cultivate a winning mentality into this team. Having the chance to win the title but settling for 2nd place is NOT a winning mentality. It's not like Milan are miles ahead of us. We are the only team giving a proper challenge for Milan, and thus it becomes our responsibility to fight for it, regardless of whether we finished 7th last season or just got promoted from Serie B. We have the chance, and we need to take it and win it. That is all. PERIOD!

short term, but they're winning titles, one has to wonder how good our long term plan is.

Despite not achieving a whole lot in the brief cameo he was given against Chievo, his mere presence on the field was the only reason worth watching us the last night.

This is not an Alex>Juve post btw, just saying his appearance was the only bright point of the night imo

I really hope he's given a starting spot on Wednesday, it's not fair to see him sit out his last season with us as a benchwarmer, especially as the other attacking options haven't exactly been prolific

Whoa, I think you got me totally wrong. I'm not saying we should target 2nd, we should fight to the end for the title, with our nails and teeth. We should give our best till the end, but I don't think we are capable of winning it if milan don't slip, becuase of that finishing second would be a very good season for me. Not that I don't want us to finish first.

We have a very promising future before us, after so much years of retarded coaches in here we can finally look positive and most importantly hope to get positive in the future. Let's not throw our coach to the dogs if we won't win the title in his first year not only with us but with a top team under his belt.
